   I have been getting my nails done at Whitton Nails for the past year and have always walked in without any issues. However, over time, I began noticing subtle signs of discriminatory behavior, which I initially brushed off because I did not have the time to look for another salon. In September , I went to get my nails done as usual. While my nails were being worked on, a white client came in and specifically requested the same nail technician who was attending to me. Immediately, the technician told me to move to another station to finish my nails. When I asked why, he said it was because she was a repeat client who preferred him and that she had made a booking.I asked him who was considered “not a repeat client,” since I had been visiting the salon regularly for over a year and why he did not tell me that he was doing my nails but someone booked him. I chose to let this experience go at the time. Today, I went back to the salon and showed a different nail technician a picture of a previous set of nails he had done for me, explaining that I wanted the same design. He responded very rudely, insisting that he had never done my nails before and publicly made me feel embarrassed in the salon. After today’s experience, I am convinced that the salon engages in discriminatory behaviour , which is such a shame in this day and age

   I always come here for my mani and pedi, and it’s consistently amazing. The prices are reasonable, and the service is great. Parking is free after 2pm on a nearby road, which makes it really convenient. It can get quite busy, so I’d definitely recommend booking in advance if, like me, you’re not a fan of waiting. They do prefer cash, but they’re happy to take card too: just note they don’t accept Amex.

   I am fuming!!. Today I spent £28 on a pedicure. When I got home I thought I'll check and see how they did. To my astonishment and anger they were no better than when I went in it was like the lady that done them had done nothing! I'm so angry to spend that amount of money for nothing. I thought of ringing to complain but what is the point. Please if anyone who is thinking of going there, go somewhere else that do the job you want.

   I tried this nail salon but left with nails that I feel are ruined. I wasn’t asked what shape I would like and before I had the chance to say anything half of one of my nails was gone! I have been given a rounded shape, which I didn’t want and and the left side of my nail is at a completely different angle to the right. Unfortunately as the nail was already gone absolutely no point in complaining. Won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend.

   It was the worst experience I’ve had getting acrylics. The man made my finger bleed twice with the filing machine and continued without an apology, he was very ruff. The nails are clearly difference sizes and ones very wonky. I paid £5 more than most shops I go to and it definitely wasn’t worth it. (However the lady who was doing pedicures looked very professional so it might have just been the man who done mine that’s awful)
