   I had a great experience today at 5 Star Nails. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they made sure I was comfortable the entire time. My nails turned out beautiful, and the attention to detail was excellent. The salon was clean, relaxing, and professional. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend 5 Star Nails to anyone looking for quality service and great results!

   I wanted to leave this review because I feel it’s important for the salon to take this feedback seriously. I have been a loyal customer for a long time and have never experienced the issues I did today. My nail technician was friendly, and I do believe he tried his best. However, I strongly feel that clients should always be informed in advance if there are going to be any additional charges — whether for designs, missing nails, charms, or anything extra. Finding out about unexpected charges at the very end of the appointment is extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. As someone who naturally avoids confrontation and tries to be kind, I felt taken advantage of in this situation. I was charged significantly more than I have ever been charged before, and I only learned about the extra costs at the very last minute. This left me feeling awkward and unhappy, especially because I didn’t feel comfortable addressing it in the moment. I am the type of customer who will pay to avoid conflict, but will leave feeling upset and not return — and that’s exactly how I left today. When I tried to express my concerns, about my nails as two nails were off colour I felt they were brushed off. I was even told, word for word, that “no one is going to look at your nails from a distance,” which completely dismissed the fact that I was unhappy with how they looked. I said to the staff member they’re are my nails and I need to like them. Which is very sad I have to say this… My nails are something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in, so hearing that felt insensitive and dismissive. To the salon: please ensure your staff clearly communicate all pricing before starting the service, and make sure clients feel comfortable and listened to. Most of your team has a very good understanding of English, so there should be no reason why clear communication can’t happen. Customers shouldn’t feel pressured, dismissed, or blindsided by extra costs. I left my appointment feeling upset — not because of the money, but because of the lack of transparency and the way I was made to feel. I hope my feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

   Ken was absolutely fantastic. He's polite, professional, and really gave me a five star service. I showed him a picture of how I usually get my nails done, and how I liked them. He listened and delivered an exceptional service. Honestly he did a better than what I usually get done at my current salon. I was very impressed with him. And I can't thank him enough. It was my first time at five star nails, and I want to also compliment all the other members of staff for their hospitality. The entire salon Is great. Thank you, you will see me again.

   Ken did my nails it’s been just over a week! He mastered every step considering he has plenty of experience which is what you need with a nail tech. He was super friendly and made sure to do everything exactly the way I wanted. The other staff are really nice and friendly too. 10/10 place

   Waited there for long time for my daughter’s appointment then after 40 mins they done shellac remove. I asked the lady to do the shellac remove without driller and she said it’s impossible to do it. I think they need more education.

   I come here pretty regularly and have done so for a few years. The reason for just 3 stars is that the service is not consistent across the nail technicians. You have to be super, super clear on what you want or they just kind of do what they like. Sometimes the nails look thick and chubby and very unappealing but when I get them done by someone else, they're exactly as I want. I went in a couple of days ago as I wanted an fill in of my gel nails that were growing out. I didn't see Thi like I usually do because she was busy and the lady that ended up doing them just gave me a fresh set of gels for full price. They look a bit stumpy and not elegant like I usually have them. The whole point of wanting just a full in was they're cheaper than a fresh set. Lucy and Thi are the best ones so book with them if you can. Also get the price before any treatment as they do sometimes make up the pricing as they please

   Been trying to find a new regular nail salon, since I moved back to Harrow and I have finally found my regular place! The place is nice and tidy and has a good vibe. They do a range of services not just simple nail painting they can do nail art, chrome and lots more. Where as some of the nearby salons can only do simple stuff. The staff are chatty and nice.

   I really don’t know why this place called 5 star nails. It was my first time today in this solan having my manicure and pedicure done. Horrible treatment the lady didn’t know what she was doing she literally finished my pedicure and manicure very quick No proper scrubbing and massage, she kept looking at the clock all the time. Waste of money.

   Been going here for years and absolutely love getting my nails done here. Thi & Nancy are amazing and they know exactly what we like without having to even discuss colours. Great friendly place and not overpriced. Would highly recommend the salon. Definitely book in as they're always busy so although they take walk ins it'd be a long wait. They offer beauty salon treatments in the back as well. Always great experience to get mine and my best friends nails done here. Variety of colors is amazing and so many to choose from.
