I have been going to Pretty Nails for a few years. The nails techs are skilled, detail-focused, and consistently make my manicure and pedicure look flawless. They assess my nails and recommend the right products. The results are amazing every time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-quality nail care.
They accept walk ins; I got French shellac and it was really fast maybe 20 mins. However later I realised that after 2 days my nails already looked a week old; it was a rushed job, the nail was not fully covered by the polish; he always cut my cuticles and pulled my skin that I was felt bleeding on 3 fingers! Never again!
I’ve been a regular customer here and have had several disappointing experiences that I think others should be aware of: I booked a specific technician ahead of time, yet I have waited 30+ minutes past my appointment time, only to be handed off to someone else who was “free.” This happens every time, no matter how far in advance I booked. It’s frustrating and unprofessional. Whenever “Penny” does my nails, there are always issues: air bubbles, incomplete coverage of the nail paint, or a finish that is not smooth. It seems rushed, careless, or not properly checked. The studio frequently accepts walk‑ins and seems to prioritise quantity over quality. If you raise any concerns about your service, staff sometimes respond rudely, speak to each other in another language so you can’t follow the conversation, or simply nod without meaningfully addressing your complaint. It feels dismissive. And lastly, they are dishonest with their customers because they accept card payments from their regular customers but lie to the new customers or first timers that they accept cash ONLY....
I went here today and honestly I can say they did a good job I love my nails, I’m definitely coming back again :)
I wouldn’t give one star if I could. The worst nails I’ve ever had , after 1 hour the nail polish is coming off on 4nails??? Also , I said I wanted them longer but the technician went ahead and cut them all so short and they look awful and not straight . Very disappointed! Paid £39 for this?
Been going here for about 5 years. Took a break during lockdown and recently started going back. Penny and Jimmy are a great, friendly team. They take their time and nails tend to last while before an infill is required.
Great service experienced about handling broken nails and how to treat them. Love my new nails will definitely go again.
