Gave me shellac nails when I repeatedly asked for gel nails, very rushed no care at all. Broke my natural nail and didn’t apologise. They have TWO shops !! But the one with a black header have the rude staff members, always rushing there work. Got my nails done down the road a lot better in service.
Amazing service highly recommend Ali I had a wonderful experience at es nail salon with Ali! He’s super professional, and my nails came out better than I imagined. Ali really listens to your preferences and pays close attention to detail. The salon itself is clean and cozy, and the staff is friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Very disappointing. My usual nail place was fully booked, so tried this place but I will not return. I asked for a pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was OK, but the foot scrub could have been stronger. For my hands, the nail technician didn't even give me a manicure I asked for- he just gave me a gel polish. He couldn't do the initial design I asked for, so I switched to a french manicure and it's so bad. I had to ask him to file my nails done properly as they were still jagged. He was rude and rushing. I left and they still look bad. Update: (NB: the photos are after a few days of my nails been done - chipped and cuticle growth already visible)
Service and initial outcome on the day was alright. (Was a little bit of a faff initially with a short wait, then the foot bath tap not working, and then swapping staff a few minutes into my appointment). The French gel manicure seemed to be pretty and looked nice, (although not a much extra to the "manicure" than sorting the nails out, really). But then within 24hrs I felt it looked strange and realised there was such a gap between the edge of the gel nail polish and my cuticles, that it already looked grown out as if it was 1.5-2 weeks old!! (Photos from 1 day after manicure attached). Which obviously then just looked even worse over the following week or two. Disappointing, especially as I was getting them done just before going away for a wedding! And since I'd gone here on a great recommendation. Unfortunately it was poor; I felt a bit cheated & that it was a waste going there to be honest, I'm sorry to say.
Booked an appointment, they made me wait two hours! I went with two of my friends, one of them was bleeding from the lack of experience of her nail tech. my other friend got nails that look like a five year old did them. ALL of the nail techs we had were so aggressive and rough with our nails to the point of it instead of it being an enjoyable experience it was painful. There was a plethora of people who had to wait an outrageous amount of time. When I asked my technician to fix something he rolled his eyes at me and let out a rude sigh. Would definitely not recommend coming here, the service is unacceptable and the standards have fallen rapidly.
I went to have a full set of acrylic nails done at this shop and I found the staff to be really stand offish and rude. As I am a paying customer, I really expected to be treated with a bit more respect and understanding and instead they were really short with me and I felt really awkward being in there and couldn’t wait to leave. The therapist couldn’t even understand what I instructed him to do. I wanted the different shape and different length. After he was done my nails length I said can you please file it tiny bit. He went mad. Then he was ok but all the other male and female staff was supporting him and talked in their language. Then the the list started to carry on with finishing my nails. But there was another male staff and a female staff who carry on teasing me with telling me so many things in front of other customers eg. Short, long and come back again etc.. This is very rude customer service and very rude staff. They do not know how to treat customers politely. We paid for the service. I will never recommend this shop to anyone. I have to say Emily the manager is a nice lady. But she needs to train her staff well and teach them more customer service and how to treat customers. I will never go there again. It’s a shame I have been going to this shop very regularly even though I faced so many unfair and rude experiences. My nails Wes note done properly. It looks so think and this is not the shape I wanted. I can see white nail underneath the nail varnish. But I was so scared to tell what I wanted. I hate the staff who works in this shop!! This shop really should close down.
I visited here today and had a good experience! I showed them a couple different pictures and explained how I’d like them since I wasn’t able to find a specific reference picture. They listened very well and it was executed extremely efficiently and delicately. I am highly satisfied with the results and the staff were very excited for me as well. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for high quality nail art and manicures. So happy with the results which are attached! :))
ES nails are amazing! All the staff are friendly and helpful. They even help you pick a colour and design! I have been going to ES nails for over 7 years and am very happy with the service! I always love my nails! Plus the shop is always clean and fresh. Perfect service.
This place is a BIG NO NO! I would give them 0 starts if I could. The most unprofessional nail salon I've ever been to. Extremely rude and unfriendly staff who are not able to speak/understand basic English. Specially the girl called 'Heidi', please avoid her if you go there. She is the worst of them all. I called them in advance to make 2 bookings. I clearly told the lady on the phone that for myself I need shellac removal, manicure and a new shellac and for my mum no removal needed, just manicure and new shellac. So we go there, she is sitting there looking angry and grumpy as usual. The salon is almost empty (1-2 customers). She does not give us the shade samples to look at (I could see them on the table tho, nobody was using them), instead she asks us to look at the nail vanish bottles to chose our shade, weird. I had to ask her if we can have the booklets to look at. Heidi starts with my mum's nails, when we tell her about my mum's desired shade she starts raising her voice in an angry and rude way with: 'You no tell me on the phone!!! This not what you tell on the phone!!! You tell no more colour' We got shocked, at first I could not even tell what she was talking about as it was difficult to understand her point. She kept saying 'You say no more colour' that is when I realised she misunderstood 'no removal' for 'no more colour'. So I started telling her that it seems she did not understand the word 'removal' and that is when when she uses her hands and body language to tell me 'stop talking and go and do your nails' literally she asked me to shut up. I found this very rude and disgusting behaviour. So I tell her 'You don't have to be rude. Please respect your customers.' But then here comes another shock, a lady there started attacking me and verbally abusing me without even knowing the story. I found the whole experience harassing. I later on asked Heidi about her name as I wanted to talk to her manager and she refused to give me her name by saying 'I don't know'. The girl who did my nails was really helpful and nice. She helped me talk to another member of their salon. I am sure she saw what Heidi did with her hands and body language to show me 'shut up'. Heidi could simply apologise for her poor English skills and disgustingly rude behaviour but instead she was laughing and making funny noises like she does not even care. I do not recommend this salon to anyone even my worst enemies. I think the shop owner is making a big mistake by having Heidi in this salon, specially allowing her to take phone calls when she is no competent enough. You lost 3 customers today. Please also be aware that in this salon they only collet cash and I do not think this is legal in the UK. I wish to take this matter further as my mother and I were harassed by 2 people this salon.
