Absolute Joy is great! I go there regularly for BIAB and often get designs, they are very accommodating and my nails always last. Highly recommend. :)

Fantastic Nail shop. Have tried a few in the area and this is my favourite. Great range of colours. Pedicures are also great for summer.

Honestly the best nail salon around! I’ve been using Absolute Joy Spa since an awful experience at another salon in the area 8 months ago and I’ve never looked back. The staff are always polite and friendly and the salon is always so clean. My nails are always perfect and never chip even after being done for 4 weeks! Anita is exceptional with Nail art and makes every idea come to life and a high quality service is provided with a smile by all staff!

Horrible experience, don’t go this place I always do my shellac manicure every 3 weeks I went for first time to this place to try and after literally 3 days few nails were gone, AFTER 3 DAYS I called them trying to do another service for free obviously to fix my nails or just for return my money back and they said that’s not gonna happen, the only thing they offered me is go to the salon and then do the nails again with 20% discount, RIDICULOUS Also the salon is so dirty, the products materials they use to remove the cuticle are not even clean. And another detail, when the woman finished my nails, she never used any cream or any oil, please don’t go to this salon!!!!

Hmm, guess my standards are higher because in the states cleanliness at nail salons is very important and if a salon isn’t up to code it’s written up, their business is posted in the paper and sometimes they even are forced to shut down until they make things more sanitary. Guess those standards don’t apply here. While the metal tools were in Barbicide there was no sign of an autoclave, the towels were dirty and reused (they shook them off after me and folded them to be used on another customer), and the overall decor is dated, dirty and not very inviting (the pictures are very misleading). They didn’t clean the pedicure bowl (where feet soak) after my pedicure; they simply drained the water, splashed new water around and dried it. Very unsanitary to not use a disinfectant. The staff wasn’t very friendly, barely said anything to me and spoke to themselves in another language the entire time. I just didn’t feel like a valued customer and it was a bit awkward especially since I was the only one there the entire time. I got a regular pedicure and a shellac manicure. The teenage girl who did my fingernails didn’t wrap aluminum foil around my fingers well when removing the gel I had on so they kept falling off. The application of the shellac was very good but she did a terrible job with my side cuticles so the skin there is built up and unsightly. The irony is that I asked for no cuticle work but they didn’t understand I guess. Either do it right or don’t do it at all. Oh well. It’s been a week and my polish is still on with no chips as of yet which is great. My pedicure was about the same except the woman who did my toenails cut my nails too short which can lead to ingrown nails. She was nicer and gave a relaxing foot and calf massage but the foot file was definitely not sanitary, it was like a big sponge. Did the trick in terms of removing hard skin though. Note it’s cash only which was not made clear when I booked the appointment online so I had to leave the salon when I was done and go to the cash machine. What I did appreciate was that they were very nice about that and trusted that I’d return. Not a lot of businesses would do that so it was a definitely plus. I think this salon could be better if it was updated, the marks all over the walls were painted, the towels weren’t reused, it was more sanitary, and the staff was more friendly and talkative to their customers. The prices were fantastic. Extremely reasonable. For a shellac manicure and regular pedicure it was 45.
