   Got my nails done here, few days later one snapped off, I had a new set at a different shop prior to this I will add (that salon back home had excellent reviews and the only reason I got it done here is because I am travelling). That said I've been in this situation before and rarely have I had this happen so soon after, and if I have and it's within a week they've always fixed for free accepting it is not acceptable to come off so soon. One week after? OK maybe, two weeks ok fair enough, but a few days?! So I went back and she wanted to charge me £5, she became rude and defensive when I calmly explained my case she was having none of it, sat with her arms crossed, got defensive then refused to do it, said she didn't trust me to pay until I had paid up front! (I'll add here too that she handed her bank details over on a pre made very used bit of paper - when I came before she said she doesn't take bank transfer, when clearly she does, I'll leave that one there) This really offended me and I even said here take my phone as insurance. She refused. I had no choice as I needed the nail fixing today, and said OK I am happy to pay but never coming back because of how she spoke and treated me. I even explained I was happy to forgo the nail breaking if she accepted that it shouldn't have come off so soon and I was going to come back but she cared more about getting her £5 today and being aggressive towards me. She then continued to speak at me rudely throughout fixing the nail even though I said it's ok let's leave it and agree to disagree but she didn't listen (also it took all of 5 mins of her time too) and cut my nail in the process (please see photo) I have been getting my nails done for about 20 years and this is literally my second bad experience. So I think that says it all really! I sat in silence thanked her for her time and wished her a good day as I left - because respect and manners take nothing and mean a lot. (she also said she has never had a customer like me - again I've never in my 20 years of nail treatments been told this I always have great chats and build good relationships with the people that do my nails) The way I was treated today I walked out shaking, I feel really offended and upset and as a paying (twice) customer, this is why I feel so compelled to write this today. I don't recommend this place, if you are reading this - please go somewhere else and hopefully you get stronger nails and treated more respectfully.
