Went with my daughter today. We both had a pedicure with gel polish and acrylics with gel. Great service, very friendly staff a good job done.
The worst experience here today which led me to cry while leaving the salon. The male nail technician was so sarcastic and quite aggressive while doing my nails. He was tutting to himself and shaking his head when I didn't know the number of the colour shade that I had got before. He laughed in response and got up from his seat to start on another clients nails just to make a statement which was two seats away from me and continued to make me feel small by speaking rudely to me. At times I couldn't hear what he was saying to me as he was wearing a mask and I kindly asked him to repeat himself and said sorry that I couldn't hear him and he repeatedly shook his head with disgust and responded with "it doesn't matter" this happened a good few times during this appointment. He shoved my hand down to be in a certain place while painting my nails which cracked my finger and was quite painful but never acknowledged that he had done it. I have went to this salon for over a year now and never fully had a great experience but just continued going because it was close to my house but after today I will never return. I felt so uncomfortable, would not recommend making an appointment here.
First time at Alex Nails yesterday and I'm SO pleased I've found them. I think these are my favourite nails ever and they look perfect. Friendly team who answered my questions ahead of time. Far better experience than other salons in the area. Highly reccomend!
Really happy with how my nails turned out! My nail artist was very gentle, took his time and paid great attention to detail. One thing to note is that they only accept cash, so best to come prepared, although they were happy for me to leave something behind while I got cash out after my appointment. Will happily go back again!
Got acrylics done on a Wednesday and every single one of my nails came off by Saturday evening. Nails were really poorly glued on, normally when I get acrylics these last for a minim of two weeks until I get infills. I went in on Sunday morning to ask for my money back and was practically shouted by Amy in front of loads of other customers. She wouldn’t let me speak, told that this “never happens” and I would have to pay for a new set (£30). I am absolutely appalled and will never be going back here again. Also, all of these reviews from other customers are fake. Amy will practically force you to leave a review once she has done your nails and won’t let you pay until she can see it has been uploaded. Rude and bad service, go elsewhere.
I’ve had my nails done at Alex Nails for years and they always do a great job. Lisa recently did my shellac manicure and I love it! I recommend booking with Lisa for your treatment at Alex Nails
I have been going to Alex’s every 2 weeks for the past 18 months and I couldn’t recommend them more. Ann, Lisa and Amy always listen to exactly what I want and I am so happy with my nails every time. I really enjoy going to salon as the whole team are absolutely lovely! Definitely check them out ✨

The lovely team, Lisa and Ann were absolutely great. they remained very patient even when my girlfriend she swung her legs while her toes while getting them done and talked all the way through. Great people, great evening. She’ll be coming back soon no doubt
