I got BIAB over my natural nails. The staff were lovely and it was a very relaxing studio. 10/10
Very disappointed with my experience. The salon was not clean, and the technician used a mechanical buffer on my nails against my clear wishes, saying this was “their way of doing it.” She over-buffed, then applied a poor-quality base. As a result, my nails are stained, and the damage cannot be fixed—I’ll have to wait for them to grow out. I would strongly advise others not to go to this place.

Absolutely loved my experience at Eighty-8 Nail Studio! The space is clean, relaxing, and the staff is super professional and kind. My manicure turned out beautiful, and I felt really taken care of the whole time. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Amazing nail salon in Chelsea. The staff is super friendly and professional. The nail art looks great and the price is very good.
Nice people but poor job on the nails. I had an infill of acrylics with shellac on top. The infill was done well but the shellac on top was very poor. The layers were not applied evenly and it chipped off within a day. For £55, I would expect the shellac/gel to last at least 2 weeks like it usually does when my normal place does it.
AVOID: The experience I had with this salon is that they were extremely unprofessional and not worth a penny for their service. first they don't respect your time as I had an appointment at 4 but they started to do my nails at 4:30 On the other hand they said it would take 45 minutes but it took 2 hours at the end They made one of my nails very bad and I was asking the person to remove it and do that one nail again but he was arguing with me that they dont have time and the nails looks fine to him until another person beside me agreed with me and said my nails looks tilted upwards. He then did that nail again but this time it was completely curved to the side. I was saying i'm not happy with this but he would say " its your own nail shape that causes this" then he said " not all nails are perfect always" at last the guy doing nails was trying to flirt with me during his work which is very inappropriate, he was saying you have such soft hands, and while doing my middle finger he was saying " you like this finger right, nasty mind". I have been doing my nails for years and therefore can associate a professional work from someone who does not do their work properly, clearly this place is not professional at what they do and how they treat customers.
I had shellac removal, a manicure and reapplication of shellac. They accommodated me almost immediately after phoning for a last minute appointment and were very fastidious about the shellac application; 3 weeks later and it’s still going strong. I’m very happy with their work.
Julie (the owner) is amazing! She was so gentle, very kind and really keeps her space clean. The studio is wonderful and has a lot of options to chose from. Julie and the other nail techs are also amazing and really sweet. I highly recommend going to this nail studio. Thank you Julie and team for the great service!
