I had a great experience at Tracey Nails. I turned up close to closing time without an appointment and was seated straightaway for a gel removal and manicure. Maisie did an amazing job and I was really impressed by her lovely manner, patience, and brilliant attention to detail. All the staff were very warm and I look forwards to returning!

Very good experience! Their service is 10/10, I’ve been to a few nail salons in Streatham but this my favourite! Nails last long and are very beautiful.

Will never go here again, last year i got a full set and after one day a nail came off, went back and got it fixed and another one came off two days later. I swore i would never go back but as i was going on holiday today i went to get nails done this Monday (bank holiday) and my usual place and other nail shops on the high street were closed. I spent £75 in total for full set and a pedicure with shellac. I am now at the airport ready to go on my holiday and o have two chipped nails. Fuming!! What a waste of time and money!

Absolutely love the set I got today. I’ve had a few bad sets but the one I received today is lovely. I’m very thankful. The owner is sweet and patient and so are the staff. We had to wait a while because it was busy but we were kept up to date and even given a £5 discount. I didn’t get my initial set I actually had the acrylic powder reccomened by the owner and all my friends and family have said it’s the best set I’ve ever gotten

I love getting my nails done here. The salon is always clean and tidy and the staff are amazing. This is now my regular shop. I always leave happy.

Nice, clean salon but there does seem to be a discrepancy with prices. I called and spoke to a man on the phone prior to arriving, told him what I wanted and was quoted a price. I even asked again just to be sure. After my nails were done when it was time to pay, I was asked to pay a different amount which was more then what was quoted on the phone. It could be a genuine mistake, but I would say to any customers to double check the price you will be paying.

Had my gels soaked off hands and feet. It honestly felt like the technician was clueless, I asked her to to leave the acetone soak on for longer because the gel was not coming off at this point but she was really scraping away at the gel which was painful. Nails were left really rough and then Tracey offered to add a top coat at no extra cost which was ok at the time but day two was chipping massively and which I hadn’t got it. There was an extra cost because it’s £7 for soak off hands and feet but I got charged £20. I was too embarrassed to say anything and just wanted to get out. My nails are chipping quite badly I think this is due to how the technician was scraping the polish off the edges.

Firstly, if you book a 'Gel Polish Change Hand' be aware it doesn't include removal. In the past in all other salon's I've been to, if that was the case it would say 'Gel Polish only - hand'. I had a gel manicure and pedicure only 2 weeks ago and unfortunately the gel hand polish chipped in under 10 days. As I was on holiday there was nothing I could do about it. However, when I got back I decided to give them another go and get my polish re-done. During the removal today, the member of staff managed to slice my finger with the tool to remove the gel. It took a little while to stop the bleeding and it was incredibly painful. However, I said mistakes happened and not to worry. When it came to paying I was asked to pay £23 (which I questioned as it was more than what was listed on the site) and then I did advise I'm surprised they are charging full price anyway as I've got a sliced finger as a result of the treatment. I got £3 knocked off. I really don't think it's acceptable to cut someone's finger (and it still hurts a lot) and then expect them to pay full price? Especially when the customer has been understanding and not made a big deal about it at the time. Also, the finish isn't great and you can see from the second nail, the polish hasn't been filed at the side, so it's lifting up already. After visiting this place several times since it opened, I'm really disappointed and I won't be coming back.
