All smoke, but no cook! If I could give zero stars, I would. This was my first time at Hollywood Nails. honestly it was the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. I went because of the good reviews, but it turned out really bad. While doing my nails they hurt my skin and even put some kind of chemical on that stung a lot — they could see I was in pain but just kept going. On top of that, the pricing is super dodgy. They gave me one price for hands and feet, then at the end tried to charge extra for things I never agreed to. I even saw another customer arguing about the same thing. Feels like a scam. The nails themselves look thick, uneven, and already starting to look white and flaky. Definitely not professional. I’ve been to plenty of nail shops before and know no job is perfect, but this was beyond bad. I absolutely do not recommend this place.
I love this nail shop!! I’ve been coming here to get my nails, lashes and eyebrows done since I was about 15, the lady who runs it Helen is an angel and she’s always polite and kind! And never moans when your a little late! Will be going here until the day I die!!
Been coming here for a very long time. But unfortunately over the past year or so the shop as become unbearable. The staff are constantly rushing each persons nails to move on to the next person. I recently had my toes done and the woman was in such a rush she cut me with the electric nail file. One worker will start your nails before you are then passed on to another worker to finish them. Helen constantly leaves people in the middle of their nails being done to go and do other customers lashes which is just extremely unprofessional. On top of this I was charged £20 for shellac on my toes which used to be £10 because my previous shellac was removed. BUT THEY RMOVED IT WITH THE ELECTIC FILE. WHICH THEY WOULD HAVE USED ON MY TOES BEFORE PUTTING MORE SHELLAC ON ANYWAY. NOT LIKE THEY'RE USING CHEMICALS TO REMOVE SO THEY REALLY SHOULDN'T BE CHARGING EXTRA FOR THAT. I have tried to look passed their errors as I like them as people and have been using their shop for a very long time. But I will no longer return as a customer. I've had some recommendations for the shop next door called Fantas. So will see what they're about. Such a shame.
Full set of ombré acrylic nails with design for £30. Came out exactly as I hoped and the service was great. Kept checking in to make sure I was happy with the design. Will be back for sure. One nail shop up the road was looking to charge £60 for the same design but very happy I found Hollywood Nails!
I went here for an acrylic removal and the lady literally peeled the acrylic off. It was torture and painful. My nails are now paper thin, red and sensitive. I’ve never experienced anything like it. If you value your nail health please avoid this place.
I had my nails filled, toes painted and,brows threaded.they work really fast and everything cost £19. But they only use Clare acrylic so there is a noticeable line between there work and what I had originally .
