   I had a nail appointment booked for 10am but arrived at 10:15 due to running behind schedule. When I got there, the salon was quiet, yet I hadn’t received a courtesy call to check if I was still coming. Instead, I was told there were now other clients waiting and I’d need to wait over 30 minutes. I found this disappointing and unprofessional, especially as I’ve been a loyal customer in the past. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning

   The service at this place has change recently. It is a big regret for me as I was a formal client of this shoop. You may want to check how much you paying before the nails are done . The big red poster shows different prices to what you pay.Why the plece is cash only!

   got my nails done and they are cute, HOWEVER, I had an appointment for 3 and had work at 5, meaning I didn’t have time to be lounging around in this current summer HEAT. I wasn’t serviced until half past the hour due to the staff taking on walk ins while I was waiting despite being on time for my appointment. This meant that I had to give up on the nail designs i wanted and walk out with a solid colour set as I was losing out on time and would’ve otherwise been late for work. Additionally, three weeks later, the acrylic on my index finger first lifted, and then ripped off in a very painful manner and this has never to me before because my natural nails are very strong and durable. This may be a personal issue rather than a salon problem but I’ve never had this happen and have been getting my nails done for years now. The prices are good which is why my rating will remain high but I don’t think i’ll be returning as I’d rather pay a higher price point for the insurance of my nail health and swift service . Thank you.

   I’ve been going to Nails Extreme for quite some time now and they never fail to impress. David especially is an amazing technician; precise, accurate and quick. I definitely recommend this place.

   This place smells like 50 year old socks , the costumers are load !!!! The shop is dirty !!!! The towels are bacteria ridden. Oh my Goodness I sat there in abject horror. Thinking what am I doing here . But I've been told not to judge a book by its cover. No one told me about the smell. But I thought perhaps it a hidden jem and my pedicure might be outstanding.. Well I was wrong !!!!!! Waste of money .. its upsetting when they take your money knowing they did a poor job / service. As a Black Business owner service , quality, is imperial to Fontaine Beauty Room

   Don’t waste your time coming here. I paid £40 for a gel pedicure, my feet was in the water for 2 minutes maximum and then 30 second rub on each foot. I then asked to change the gel colour to white and he looked at me like I was an alien. Very rude staff!! Waste of money and time

   I’ve given them two stars as the young man and young lady are really good at what they do and have always been polite - if you go, ask for them. However, after going last time and an elderly nail tech not being able to do a very simple pattern for me, I decided to try elsewhere after years of going to Nails Extreme. I’ve gone to a new place, same prices and everything. Without knowing where I usually go (so you know they aren’t just hating for rivals sake), the nail tech said that they’ve handled my toes very poorly. After a conversation, we figured out they don’t soak off gel on toes at Nails Extreme and the constant drilling/ filling has caused my nails to be very weak. He said that if I had gone back another 1 or 2 times, I would have ended up with sores and nail loss - like complete toenail loss! I was beyond shocked. Overall, my nails aren’t different shapes and I’m not at all embarrassed about the set I’ve just gotten done else where. Usually, over the past year, I’ve been making excuses for Nails Extreme’s sloppy and quite lazy work, whether that be painting or shape, because I’m so used to going there. Now, I will no longer be returning as I’d like to give my money to good artists and I mean, I’d quite like to keep my toenails!!

   I remember why I stopped going. Due to a holiday the next day I was in need of a pedicure and was willing to give this place another go. No communication during before or after treatment except for colour choice, resulting in a terrible pedicure! Every nail was a different shape, cutting down too much on certain nails and not enough on others. Do not waste your time!!!
