   This was my first time going to a nail salon in over 10 years, and I am so glad I chose Tony Nails! From the moment I walked in, the service was amazing. I had booked an appointment, and as soon as I arrived, they immediately sat me down to get started—no waiting around, which made the whole experience so pleasant and efficient. I especially want to thank my nail tech for going above and beyond. After each step—filing, acrylic application, painting, and decorations—he always checked to make sure I was happy before moving forward. The attention to detail was outstanding: the artwork was beautiful, the size and shaping were flawless, and he even made sure to file away any leftover product under my acrylics for a clean finish. The diamond placement and design were absolutely immaculate! On top of the excellent service, the environment was so friendly and welcoming. The staff were kind, and even the other clients were chatty and warm, which made the experience even better. I couldn’t be happier with my nails and will definitely be coming back every month!

   UPDATE reply to owner: I stated in my review that I came 4 days later for a removal and a refund as my nails were still in pain. When I came in you literally said you can’t give me a refund because if you do, that means others will come in for refunds! I called the police and they were not able to deal with it as they said it was a civil dispute so I would have to contact citizens advice. So please state all the facts here! Yes I have been to do my nails here several times so you know I would not come back to complain unless there was something seriously wrong. What do I have to gain from coming back to complain, asking for a removal, if there wasn’t an issue? Please tell the TRUTH here - my nails were aching when you removed them. You could see I was in pain as you removed them. There was skin sticking out and swelling!!! The way you handled the situation that day and your reply to my HONEST review just shows you have no integrity. You are polite to customers until there is an issue with their nails. Awful service. Original review: The ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I’ve received from a nail shop. They will destroy your natural nails with a drill and won’t have a care in the world. I went last week for a refund and removal for nails that I had done with them 4 days prior which left my nails so sore. The owner, Tony, couldn’t care less. They only removed the nails. All they care about is money. Will never step foot in here again. Also beware, I believe they report honest reviews that do not show them in a positive light!!! If you care about the health of your nails, avoid this place at all costs!!

   Been coming to tonys nails for almost a year now and at first could not have said a bad word about the service provided. Over the course of the last year I have come to find the experience is no longer enjoyable and the overall quality has gone down. A big issues is inconsistent pricing. For example a full set with a French tip could be anywhere between £28 and £35. Other occasions a full set with design could be between £30 and £45. Tony has always provided excellent quality and price was always around a similar price but never get an appointment with him anymore. I started noticing price discrepancies when friends or relatives, who had almost identical design where charged quite a bit more than me. I believe that younger school aged girls are being massively overcharged and this has now progressed to anyone they think will pay a higher price without complaint. Pre-booked appointments now seem to be a waste of time as you'll still be expected to wait if there are queues from walk-ins. In some instances a wait of 45 mins over your appointment time until your seen, so may as well not have a booking system. Large groups of young girls congregate in the salon and will hang around waiting on one friend or invite more friends who turn up even though there are only 4 nail techs. They never turn any of them away. No waiting times are given to anyone, just told wait if you have time. I have witnessed nail techs attempt to do sets on two girls at the same time, having them swap back and forward from the chair as they are so busy. At the same time have 4 clients with appointments waiting and still accept 4 more walk-ins. These girls all got acrylic extentions with white tips and were all charged between £30 and £35, when I have seen other women, over the past year pay £25-£28. Clearly cashing in off young girls that will pay what's being asked without questioning the price. It's not acceptable, it's impacting the overall service all clients receive. I have never been charged more than £32 for a set of nails here, with all the various designs, yet today was charged £40 for a set that were lumpy and and poorly done. When I pointed out things I was unhappy with the tech was annoyed, pretended to fix it and then carried on. Don't think I will be returning, which is a shame as I always recommend Tony to others.

   Ruined my good natural nails. Used drill on them and wasn’t needed. Hands and feet a complete mess now.
