   Thank you so much for our stay at Golden Oak 80. We are incredibly grateful to all the staff who made our stay so special. Nothing was too much trouble, and any small issues were resolved quickly and to a very high standard. The Sherwood Forest team are amazing and truly went above and beyond, making my partner’s 40th birthday one to remember. Thank you all so much!

   I really liked the place it was really nice i liked the hot-tub the Stuff there was really nice and kind and helpful. The only thing i didn't really like about is how the TV's are locked down like i wanted to stream my Laptop to the TV but i can't it asked for a QR code and yeah i could use my Phone but when i tried it didn't really work. But the Place was really nice! Also the Phone Signal is hard to get i had 1 bar 4G (i use EE) and some times it goes to no Service so if u need to take Phone Calls i would use Wi-Fi calling.

   We had a fabulous family long weekend, party of nine plus dog, at Sherwood Forest Holidays. Age range 2 - 60 years. Even storm Amy didn't spoil it for us. Our lodge and tree house was spotless. Very spacious. Space for three vehicles. We probably could have done with 4x4 vehicles to reach our lodge, as the road / track was a bit of a challenge for my low vehicle. We ordered a Morrisons delivery for the Friday and they delivered right to the door. There was a large hot tub and gas bbq on the decking. Both got used! On the Saturday Forest Pines was deserted, as it was closed to visitors because of storm Amy. It was back open on the Sunday and became very busy. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the kids are asking when can we book again !

   My fiancée and I had the most wonderful time in Sherwood. The cabin was beautiful and the location was simply stunning. There were plenty of activities available, but more than enough gorgeous scenery to just go for a leisurely walk. The staff were incredible, friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Forest Ranger John was an absolute legend with his delightful quiz on Wednesday and a lovely, impromptu walk in the forest on Tuesday. I would absolutely come again and highly recommend Forest holidays in Sherwood to anyone looking for a peaceful, picturesque break in the forest.

   Great place to chill and relax. Lovely cabin with just about everything you need. Hot tub was great. Couple of things could be improved. I understand that low lighting and natural daylight are much more calming and relaxing but it would be nice to have the option of bright lighting when you need it. The main omission was the complete absence of a decent make-up/shaving mirror. The only mirrors in the bathroom were too high up with no lights above them. If the mirror in the bedroom was supposed to be the make-up mirror it wasn't good enough as it only had a dim light above it Maintenance wise the bathroom paint and shower sealant needed freshening. We needed to report a couple of things that could have been avoided with a decent pre arrival check but these were put right within 40 minutes so no real problem. I also thought that it was great to have recycling facilities but wondered why the dry recycling bins had plastic liners and could they make facilities for soft plastic recycling? But overall really lovely place and great for a chill out weekend.

   Absolutely beautiful serene escape from all of life's stresses. Went for four nights and came back feeling recharged. It was our first holiday with our baby and it was the perfect place. Cabins are spaced out far apart so no worry about anyone hearing our baby cry. We also brought our beloved Scottie dog too who had the best time too. The cabins were clean and the hot tub checked every day and in pristine condition. Stunning woods can be seen in every room and the staff were just amazing and friendly. We will be definitely be back soon.

   We stayed for a weekend in a beautiful lodge with a hot tub. Plenty of places to walk the dog, activities for everyone and even a quiz. Had a lovely weekend, the quiz was only £5 and that included a pizza and it was really fun. We also did the archery which was fun but the instructor was a little bit rude and felt rushed in some aspects and it felt more like a school lesson where you can not talk. Although the lodge was beautiful the parking was difficult with one of us having to park on the reception carpark. We had a parking space on a vertical bank with a tree in the middle of it, we tried not to leave too much as it was difficult to get back parked.

   We stayed in the couples cabin for a long weekend. The cabin was very nice and a great space for a couples getaway. We had some issues with the hot water system while we were there but the staff were very polite and did their best to try and help us. The birds of prey tour was absolutely amazing, we can highly recommend. We also booked the I'm cabin couples massage which was good but quite expensive.
