   Needed an emergency prescription because the delivery I had ordered was late, left me on hold for ages when I called then hung up on me, didn't answer when I called back multiple times, was then told they would call me back after my 8th attempt to call, he was unwilling to give me an emergency prescription because it had already been issued despite it being issued 5 days ago and not arriving leaving me without any of my medication, never using these people again.

   This chemist is a complete joke. Staff are unhelpful and make excuses when the prescriptions are not ready, blaming the doctors. Today after two weeks notice they have failed yet again to sort my wife’s medication , which she needs. Tomorrow we go away on holiday so no chance of sorting anything elsewhere. They have let us down on multiple occasions having either none of the prescription or only half of it ready. Use this chemist at your peril.

   The Pharmacy gave me someone else's prescription entirely, we didn't even share the same name or anywhere near the same address. When I reported this, I received no apologies or words indicating accountability and when we went to swap it, they still tried to get my dad to pay even though we'd already paid. I reported the mistake to the appropriate bodies but they have ghosted me and I presume they are not interested in preserving pharmacy ethics and regulations. I don't think I can trust this Pharmacy anymore and will be picking up my prescriptions elsewhere. EDIT: As of 8/5/25, the appropriate authorities have taken action and my previous point no longer stands.

   This last let down will be the final one. I'm using Boots at Ventura Park from now on. The photos featured on this site are long out of date. The shelves are now empty and the business appears to be winding down which I can only imagine is a management decision. The staff are excellent but they must be suffering in these circumstances. I'm lucky I have a car and can travel but for the customers who rely on town then they will have to find another pharmacy.

   Do NOT use this pharmacy. They were told to order my medication in on Tuesday, which they said they would do and assured my medication prescribers that it would ready the following day, on Wednesday. It wasn't ready the following day. Not only was it not ready, but I overheard two members of staff asking each other if they had ordered it. It then took ten minutes for someone to actually tell me they didn't have it. I was told to return the next afternoon. To give them a chance, we came back on the morning of Friday the 28th of March. Guess what they told us. The staff do not care, which is obvious through the lack of management it receives. Even if you are registered with the surgery next door, do yourself a favour and choose another pharmacy.

   Absolute disgrace of a pharmacy, go literally anywhere else. They make you air out your exemptions when it comes to paying for prescriptions. So if you are exempt in anyway from paying for any prescriptions and would like to explain discreetly don’t bother going here because they’ll shout letting the entire lobby know, when asking you for your exemption belittling you in-front of everyone as you then have to tell them your private reasons for it. That’s not all, they are little to no help over the phone, and with them being next to a GP practice you’d think they would be able to organise prescriptions from there quickly. Nope! They can take days if not weeks to organise your prescriptions. Not one staff member smiles, jokes or seems like they even want to be helping the public. Unfortunately I will never use this pharmacy again. After witnessing what happened to me happen to someone else in-front of me. Disgraceful!

   This chemist is the worse in Tamworth they are literally useless! They don’t request Perscriptions when you call them and ask them too. Which results in me turning up to collect it , with them saying “oh it hasn’t been requested!!” Time and time again. Which then results in me without medication if it falls on a weekend or bank holiday. They are also all miserable! They don’t offer one smile! They treat you like your a hindrance. I am now ordering my medication directly online myself, this way I know it’s been done! I will avoid this chemist at all cost, i certainly won’t miss their happy welcoming faces!!

   Can t believe how slow this pharmacy is . They have plenty of staff in place but there seems no urgency in dealing with customers needs . Saw for myself how an elderly gentleman well into his seventies had been standing waiting for his prescription even though his medication was ready in one of there colourful baskets but did nt feel the need to give it him straight away and left him wait far longer than he needed to ...very poor service and has been since new ownership!
