A huge thank you to the amazing staff at Blackwood Pharmacy. My wife’s insulin pen stopped working and wasn’t in stock at many pharmacy’s. Blackwood arranged a replacement the same day and even liaised with another pharmacy that had failed to release the prescription. Great customer service.

My GP sends my prescriptions to this pharmacy. The staff here are always friendly and professional. I feel like they always go the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble. My prescriptions are always ready and waiting for me. Would highly recommend this pharmacy . 5*
Popped into get my prescription which I have been getting my prescriptions from for a long time..was rudely spoken to in front of a customer DO YOU HAVE TO PAY!!! Ina very abrupt voice...tall blonde lady with glasses (Louise) she knows I don't pay cos of heart and thyroid conditions and recently bowel cancer..she was either having a bad day or doesn't like people with exemption cards!! I never ast to be poorly so to be treated like that is appalling...not happy experience at all.

Walked in, tall blond lady (Louise) abruptly and assertively asked,, if I had a mask, I said no, then said can you wear one next time, I asked if they supplied masks as they were asking for them, she replied no, then asked me in front of two other waiting customers to wait outside the shop while my prescription was being done, very rude and abrupt woman! Clearly in the job too long!
called the pharmacy at 10.30 am and spoke to a lady who confirmed i could come in after 3pm to collect my repeat prescription. got there at 3.15pm and the staff could not recall the call conversation and denied a call came in, although i showed them proof of the call off my phone. they kept repeating the same thing that prescription take 2 days to order, yet no one said that on the phone. the chemist/manager then stepped in and instead of helping the situation, tried to show her authority reiteratted the same thing as the staff said. she had 0% customer service skills and did not have any considerate patient care skills Overall a bad experience for myself. Avoid the chemist
I really enjoyed being in the shop. Pharmacist is very approachable , the customer service was great. Also, the fact that the Blackwood Health Centre was really close to the shop made it very convenient and was easy to pick up my medicine.
