Shocking pharmacy. Staff very surly and clueless. You feel you have to beg to get your prescription. At one point they was flying the Palestinian flag from the roof. Chemist are meant to help everyone, not take sides. They've started selling knock off aftershave and perfume which seems more priority to them than dispensing medication. Looking at the reviews, there seems to be a pattern of who gives them a good review. Just take a look. Nepotism at best.

Unreliable, I’m still waiting for my prescription and I get it ,sometimes you don’t have something in stock but when a customer calls and texts you twice and you don’t hear anything back it gets frustrating I’ve waited nearly two weeks now for a simple face cream that I need and can’t buy over the counter,I also feel bad for the customer and staff for how small the building is , you can fit maybe 4 people in the waiting area. You need a bigger building and more staff. And unfortunately I will be changing to a different pharmacy

I’ve had several very bad experiences at Duggal Pharmacy. There are often many staff working in a small area, yet the service is extremely slow. Even when my GP sends prescriptions electronically, the pharmacy often claims they haven’t received them. After multiple visits and calls, they eventually “find” the prescription — it’s very frustrating and unprofessional. Their delivery service is also unreliable. I was told my mother’s medication would be delivered the same day, but after three days of waiting and calling, nothing arrived. Each time I was told the driver was busy or on the way, but the medicine never came until I went in person. Another time, I was told to come back the next day for medicine they needed to order, but when I returned, they said it had already been collected by me or a family member — which wasn’t true. This kind of confusion happens too often and makes it hard to trust their system. The work area also looks poorly maintained, with visible dust and what looks like water leaks. It doesn’t feel clean or well organized. On top of that, I had an uncomfortable experience with one of the staff members whose appearance included a visible item that looked like a kirpan- knife. While I understand different people have cultural and religious practices, I personally felt uneasy in that situation. I believe the pharmacy should make sure all customers feel safe and comfortable in the environment, regardless of background or beliefs. Overall, the service is slow, communication is poor, and the professionalism of the workplace needs serious improvement. I wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy based on my repeated bad experiences.

crazy that this pharmacy hasn’t been closed down, always have problems with my prescriptions, tell you will be ready in 15 you give them an hour still not ready. Called them at 11am to put the prescription in the machine but only received the code after they closed. I called multiple times, and somehow they managed to forget straight away, each time called, to send me the code or put it in the machine after i hung up each time i called. After i called the final time, got told it was not put in because they didnt know if it was what i wanted. Instead of wondering and leaving it, i think the appropriate thing would be is to get back in touch with me no? since my number is in their system. Either laziness or incompetence, i dont know. Ask to order a prescription, either get an old repeat that was not needed or it just hasnt been ordered. absolutely appalling, you are playing with the health of other people and taking no responsibility for it. Pure incompetence, lack of urgency and even sympathy for others. Pharmacy itself looks like a complete tip and this is a place that handles out medication? crazy that this is even acceptable.

I’m not sure what’s happened to this chemist but it is not like how it used to be. The staff have completely changed but this shouldn’t change the way how the chemist works. It seems very chaotic which doesn’t put me at ease. I could order my repeat prescription and collect it in a few days. Now I feel like I’m being messed around. They never have any medication in. The last time I ordered my repeat prescription I gave it a bit more time to collect just to make sure they had it in. When I went to collect it, I had to wait a while (which is normal at this chemist). But as I was waiting I wasn’t impressed by the conversations I heard the staff talking about. Not professional at all and feels like all the staff are on work experience. I was then told that my medication would need to be ordered in and would be ready for Monday. My daughter had some medication to collect too but this wasn’t there either. When I returned on the Monday, it still wasn’t ready to collect. The guy who told me to come back on Monday asked me “Who told you it would be ordered in?” I replied “YOU!”. He didn’t even know it was him. So disorganised! I was then told that apparently they hadn’t been able to stock my medication since May and need to go back to my GP for it to be reviewed. I didn’t believe a single word said. It felt like no one was taking their job seriously. The lack of consistency NEEDS to be sorted out. This is peoples health.

They provided continous poor customer service - ignoring me whilst waiting for 10 minutes to get asked what they could help with, without any queue. They claimed that the prescription would be with them by 12 PM that day, and when I went to collect at 4PM, they didn't have it. They asked me to come back the next time. When I went to get the medication, they still didn't have it and claimed they don't have in stock whilst it was urgently prescribed by the doctor. They raised their voice and talked to me in a very degregating way. They didn't want to give out the prescription for multiple requests. This is not the first time that they don't provide the medication in time. They are continously late and have terrible organisation and management on top of lacking basic social skills and customer services. Can't even greet someone. The pharmacy is useless.

Great service. So many times I have been to other pharmacies that do not have stock of various items, but when I go to this chemist they always seem to have what I need. They are nice people and always helpful. five stars from me.
