   What a fantastic venue! Friendly staff and regulars, superb choice of craft beers from around the UK and abroad. A must visit if in the area or nearby, well worth a detour. 8 beers on keg and several hundred in the fridges to drink in or take away. Please support this independent business (use it or lose it!)

   The Anchor and Hops is a snug tap room with 8 beers on tap and several fridges full of top quality beers. There is a small area downstairs and there was a sign that there was more seating upstairs. The vibe is friendly and welcoming and the beers we tried were excellent. Of the 7 tap beers, 1 was available as a pint and the other 7 were only available as 2/3 of a pint.

   Easily the best craft beer spot in Warrington. The tap list is always rotating, so there’s something new to try every time you walk in, whether you’re after a hazy IPA, a crisp lager, or something a bit weird and wonderful. The fridge selection is next level too—properly cold-chained and packed with quality beers you won’t find in your average bar. The atmosphere is spot on—laid-back, no nonsense, and all about the beer. The staff actually know what they’re talking about, and you can tell they care about what they’re serving. No pretentious beer snobbery, just good pints and good chat.

   What a breath of fresh air. This place is just fantastic. The selection of drinks is first class and there's something for everyone. It's really nice to have a watering hole where the landlord is as much into the drinks as the customers. Chris is very knowledgeable with his trade and likes to share the enthusiasm if you with to chat. I asked Chris if he could do me a special monthly crew box, to which when he knew what kind of drinks I was after was more than happy. I shall definitely visit again and again.
