Had vegan wings and a beer at the Rainbow this afternoon. Went for the chilli version. A glorious intermission on a very busy day.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give 100 out of 10, I absolutely would. The Rainbow Pub in Birmingham, with its incredible Baha Kitchen, is pure culinary magic. Every single dish tastes like it’s been made with a touch of sorcery — rich, soulful, and full of flavour that goes far beyond expectations. I’ve never once been disappointed: every plate, portion, and menu choice is simply divine. You can taste the care, creativity, and passion in every bite. The venue itself is just as special — beautifully designed with thoughtful little nooks, cozy snugs, and a gorgeous outdoor area for relaxed dining. The atmosphere is always electric yet welcoming, with music and DJ sets curated to perfection (whoever’s in charge of the tunes deserves huge credit!). A special shoutout to Matthew behind the bar, Jimmy the manager, and every single member of staff — your warmth, professionalism, and energy make this place what it is. Cool venue at the Rainbow. Really airy and bright pub with a good selection of drinks. Vegan menu which was varied and for all tastes, but quite expensive per dish. Gig venue is in the basement, perfect for a small intimate performance and didn’t feel cramped or crowded.
Long narrow bar with a small area to the left and behind the bar. Great welcome when I arrived with a joke or two, made me feel welcomed and relaxed, excellent. Couple of TVs on the walls, wooden floors throughout and nice seating area. Usual tap beers with some good ales and craft beers. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Beer was amazing with food available also. Large leaded windows with mosaic look. Great old building. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
Fabulously decorated pub with really friendly staff that has all vegan food as BA-HA Large range of gins, rums and whiskeys Large outdoor and really nice outdoor beer garden with a cute car seat. Often have bans on but not when we went We stayed for some food and dessert and it was really nice

Came here a good few years ago to watch the Prodigy test album Live event. Front all night baby! Loved the atmos, perfect for a good banging night out.

This place has gone severely downhill compared to the golden era between 2008 - and early 2012, so many scumbags attend digbeth these days and it's ruined the underground club vibe the area used to have. Don't expect to see records labels like night slugs/ hessle audio/ PAN etc playing here, maybe several yrs ago yes but not now. Save your money and go to cities like Manny, bristol, london etc that have better local independent clubs.

Good party spot in Birmingham! Nice layout with multiple scenes and good spaced bar area's with fairly fast service.
