   Absolutely disgusted at this screwfix store. Stores like this give screwfix a bad name. My partner and I travelled just under 2 hours from the midlands to pick up a padlock for our friend who beeddd his boat securing nearby. He had ordered and paid for the lock already. Being in a rush after a massive journey, we grabbed the lock and headed over to the boat only to find the keys did not open the brand new lock. We had to travel back to the store whose assistants took nearly 20 minutes to tell us the lock was broken and they actually did not have a replacement. They also would not refund the defective piece of crap, because we obviously did not have our friends bank card on us. Having traveled all the way from Birmingham to not even be offered a solution is infuriating. The store assistant had the audacity to suggest we try some “oil” and see if we can get the broken lock they sold us working. Ridiculous. DO NOT ISE THIS STORE. ITS NOT WORTH THE STRESS. GO ELSEWHERE .

   Really impressed with the team here. Had Linda serve me and I was the most complicated customer. She went well above and beyond to track down my order even using cctv when I gave very little information and had lost important info but she really helped me. Haven’t had such a good experience at any other branch or competitor ever, well done Linda!

   I have been going to Screwfix for years as has the man I went with to this store earlier this week I have always thought the staff are amazing this week we had the rudest surliwst woman serve us she went out of her way to be rude quite incredible

   Found the staff really helpful. Can't remember the guys name but his customer service skills were really good. I live on a boat and ordered for delivery some big items (roofing). Couldn't deliver to the boat so he had them delivered to the store. 200 yards away). And was very helpful when I picked them up after he rang me to say they were there waiting
