Gave them 2 Victorian Pearl and Gold necklaces for a chain clean, was told they wont clean because the chains are base metal so i took them to another Jewellers who tested the chains as 9 Carat GOLD. Was told it would cost between £550.00 to £600.00 to replace the chains for Gold chains, as the chains were ACTUALLY GOLD they only required cleaning and NOT replacing. To add insult to injury, a year ago i took 3 Sterling Silver items in for repair and ended up having to pick them up with the Victorian Necklaces
