   I don’t usually write reviews, but I had a very annoying experience with this jewellery store. I brought in a thin, delicate bracelet that needed fixing. The jeweller told me he couldn’t fix it on site but would send it to a specialist, and I agreed because this store is local and I assumed the repair would be done quickly. He told me it would be ready by Wednesday or Thursday. I waited two weeks, just to be safe, as I was busy with work too. When I returned to the store enquiring about my bracelet, thinking it was ready for collection, I was told that he had forgotten to pick it up and asked me to message him as a reminder for the following week. Now, three weeks had passed. I let another Wednesday and Thursday go by, then messaged to ask if I could pick it up. I was told there had been a water leak, so again it wasn’t ready. I tried to be understanding, and I was understanding, but it’s now been almost a month since I gave him my bracelet, and it’s still not ready. I don’t have anything personal against this store or jeweller, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this store for jewellery repairs. There are other options that are more reliable. I understand unexpected issues can happen, however the lack of communication and follow through was frustrating, don’t make the same mistake I did by assuming a local shop would get the job done quickly.
