   I attended their workshop in walkden. Over the phone I was told I needed a new car windscreen. Understandably the original quote is based on a conversation only. My appointment was booked and i received email and text confirmations. I can't fault the engineers at autoglass. Once they actually saw my windscreen they said they could repair it. I said ok and left it with them. Only an hour later they rung me to say it was done. The engineer who did the work took me to my car and showed me the repair. He explained that my bill would be reduced as it was a repair. Two days later I received a refund into my bank account. The chap on the phone and the branch reception and the engineer were all very pleasant and professional.

   I arrived for a new windscreen to be fitted and was met by a very friendly and knowledgable man on the front desk. He explained what would happen and then asked me to take a seat in the waiting area. There was brewing facilities and water on offer. The whole proces took just over an hour. A very pleasant experience.

   Had 2 car windscreens replaced within 2 months (bad year!). 1st no problem but had to wait 3 days for delivery. 2nd was a wait (approx 2-3 days) then after fitting the metal trims off the A pillar came loose. Initial call to Autoglass got the comment "it's only ornamental "..! I am sure if it had flown off on the motorway and hit a motorcyclist they would have been less than happy! I managed to tape it on and went back, they said it was not a problem, stuck it back on and I left. It came off within a week - sorted it myself now. And they denied scratching the trim ( suppose they would deny damaging the trim clips too). Always check their work thoroughly.
