   I had a major delivery this morning, and the entire experience was outstanding. Huge appreciation to the brilliant driver, Rarvi. The access to my garage at the back of the house is tricky—it's a narrow lane with a sharp turn off the main road—but Rarvi tackled it with a can-do attitude that truly impressed me. He made several careful attempts to reverse the lorry into position, demonstrating top-tier driving skills throughout. Not only did he handle the main delivery with precision, but he also went above and beyond by off-loading additional building materials to my front garden, requiring a second round of unloading. Everything was done professionally, safely, and without a single complaint or fuss. Rarvi’s dedication and skill made the whole process seamless. A heartfelt thank you to him!

   My recent experience was extremely disappointing. The level of customer service was unacceptable — staff were poorly trained, dismissive, and wasted an unreasonable amount of my time. Instead of resolving a simple matter, I was subjected to delays and confusion that clearly reflected a lack of competence and proper training. This organization needs to take staff development and customer care far more seriously. Until then, I cannot recommend their services. The staff at Selco were an absolute waste of time. Completely disorganized, uninterested, and unprofessional. Instead of helping, they dragged things out and showed no respect for customers’ time.

   I asked the staff in the yard how much a piece of wood was on the scrap trolly and he said its £1, I said thank you that's amazing. Took to till and they said they will do it for £5. Then she went to check with manager and he wanted to do it for £20. He said its because it was not that badly damaged. I said okay I'll go find a more damaged bit of wood because I don't mind for what I need it for. Took that wood back to the damaged trolly, come back with a damaged wood and they tell me its £20. This place is great for usual stuff but my god the embarrassment and hassle when grabbing anything of the damaged trolleys. The manager has zero customer service skills and the lady who served me at the tills did not smile once and was acting like I was stealing when I was simply confused because I was told three different prices . I do believe that if you are told a price and take that item to the till they should have given it for the price that I was told, not to be mocked and told another two prices. Need to get that sorted.
