   Absolutely superb service here this morning. Took in my late mother’s bracelet which had a broken clasp (only purchased a month ago from another jeweller, who had also fitted the most ridiculous safety chain that kept getting stuck in the bracelet links but would do nothing about it). The manager here advised on a new clasp, recommended a much better and prettier safety chain, and even undertook the repair whilst I waited. Great price , no hidden charges (eg soldering) which I had previously been charged elsewhere, and such a lovely caring and compassionate staff team who didn’t mind my tears of happiness in the slightest. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I’ll definately be recommending you to family and friends and will be back for any future jewellery purchases.

   Wonderful service from Jo, Bethy & Lydia. I visited H&H to get some jewellery re modelled and was guided through what could be done. I am so happy with the results. Bethy & Lydia were amazing when I then decided to get my ears pierced and the choice of jewellery is fabulous. Thank you ladies, I’ll definitely be back!

   My Daughter of 15years had to go to A and E and have the helix stud cut out , as the back of the stud had pushed through to the middle of the ear, it was very painful for her, no refund was given as this happened 3 months after the piercing, when I suggested the back of the stud was too small , they dismissed this as not possible.    Had the best experience in Hill & Hill, the staff were all amazing in helping us choose my engagement ring, there was no pressure and only genuine kindness/excitement. We were made to feel at ease by all the lovely ladies!! The ring chosen admittedly I am biased but it is absolutely stunning, all of the rings brought to try on were sensational!!    Just want to shout from the rooftops about how fabulous Hill & Hill The Jewellers are. I’m not friend nor family so this really is the most genuine review. They were amazing over the phone on my first enquiry, and then more so when we called in to book an appt. They made up a gorgeous gift box for my daughter with her appt card as her ear piercing was a Christmas gift - complete with glittery star confetti, tissue and ribbons! They were so knowledgeable, reassuring and patient with my daughter, had a fabulous choice of earrings and she had a full 45 minute appointment to herself in a really lovely lounge area and private upstairs studio complete with all the privacy and mirrors every little girls heart would desire. I was even surprised to find this much nicer experience was no more than I was quoted for the shop window experience Claire’s offers. I’ve witnessed several times now the care they have taken in helping customers, choose jewellery for themselves or as gifts at varying price points and would absolutely make them my first choice for purchases in the future. How fabulous to have such a traditionally customer focused business that really seem to care in our town

   Had my broken engagement ring redesigned. Jo was great from start to finish. Wasn’t sure if the sapphire, which was damaged, could be removed but they did it all immaculately. It sits so well on my wedding ring. Will definitely be back. Great customer service with a personal touch. Thank you

   We had an incredible experience with Jo who designed my dream engagement ring. The whole experience from discussing designs, choosing a gemstone and seeing the final product was amazing. 100% recommend, the vibe of the shop is very relaxed and jewellery can be designed for your budget.
