   Lovely clothes, but aggressive and disingenuous sales people I am drawn to this shop by their unique selection of clothes . The pieces on display are lovely—original designs, and items you don’t find everywhere else. It’s the kind of shop you want to root for and support. However, my experience was overshadowed by the behaviour of the shop assistants. While I appreciate attentive service, their pushiness went beyond helpful. It felt as though they were more interested in making a sale than genuinely assisting me. When trying on an item that was visibly too large for me, I was assured repeatedly that it “fit perfectly” and looked amazing. It made me doubt the sincerity of their advice, leaving me hesitant to trust their recommendations. A friend of mine , who is the not the most confident of people , spend hundreds of hundred of pounds on an outfit which the staff told her was beautiful on her and the colours were great , completely overwhelmed her small frame and the colours were drain her . When she returned to the shop, there was no way she was getting a refund out of them, the owner’s attitude was just awful . If you want genuine advice , go somewhere else.

   Today I went in looking for a jumper. When I left the shop and started to walk away, I heard shouting from inside the shop. I went back to look in and the lady running the shop screamed at the top of her voice “It would be nice to be acknowledged. You come in, you don’t say hi, ignored me and I said hi”. I remembered when I visited the shop, she was busy on her laptop. I said “I literally didn’t hear you” because I really didn’t hear a thing when I was in there. She then repeatedly yelled at me, along the lines of, “you just come into my shop, my business and you don’t acknowledge me” I was so shocked. She then shouted “I’m having a bad day, sorry.” But it wasn’t apologetic just an attack. My heart was racing and I felt sick. There’s no way I’ll visit again!

   I bought a dress from here as a last minute back-up for a wedding. The assistant was quite pushy and did not make the returns policy clear at all. I decided not to wear the dress as it was see through in natural light and made a special trip to return the dress 2 days later, as I had been led to believe I could get a refund within 10-days. I was told I could only get a credit note and that I should have read the back of my reciept more carefully. I wrote an email explaining the situation, but after 7-days I have still not received a response. Very poor service for an overpriced dress. I will not be shopping here again.

   Lovely shop, beautiful clothes, some friendly staff.... Unfortunately I'm put off by the pressure to buy and the constant grabbing of items by a certain staff member and telling me 'this (£200) jumper would go well' or 'do you like this' or 'this would suit you' etc....when I just want to look and not have suggestive selling shoved in my face. It's really overwhelming, needs to be turned down a notch,as I will no longer visit. Ironically I would buy more, if it wasn't for the 'trying to be friendly and subtle' yet transparent hard sell.
