   I bought a door draught excluder from this shop. Although the excluder was ok, the supplied screws were far too small and not up to the job. I went back for another excluder for another door, told them the screws were inadequate and asked if they could supply some replacements to make up for it. I was met with a total lack of customer service, all the assistant was interested in was selling me another packet of screws for more money. It would have just cost them a few pennies and kept a customer happy to provide them for nothing. I won't be going back there. If you value customer service, don't shop there either!

   An absolute ripoff of a shop Unless your really badly stuck on short notice , it’s painful to hand over £20 for a £12 product in Screwfix .

   My favourite ironmonger. Everything is well laid out, the shop is always spotless and gleaming, the prices are marked and the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been coming here for cleaning products, lubricating oils, paints, tools, lamps, lights, bulbs, wicks, naphtha, chimney flue cleaners, fixtures, fittings and batteries - probably more stuff than that which I've forgotten . . . like really, really long matches! Anyway, a great shop, a great place to shop and a great way to shop - I'd never get the same service on-line.

   Came in after seeing a sign outside the shop to change an old watch battery, really excellent service- very quick, and informative. Ali knew immediately the type of battery required and was able to change it on the spot, as we were a little tight for time. The shop was easy to navigate and very clean, with plenty of options. Highly recommend.

   The service is amazing and the can-do sales attitude is so refreshing. It is one of those shops where you say to yourself "ooh, i could do with that" or "that is useful/handy". I recently had some keys cut, but they were not straight forward off-the-peg template keys. However, they were expertly cut and work a dream. Delighted to have such a shop on my doorstep.
