   Stuart the doorman has absolutely changed the atmosphere for so many people at red by night, makes absolutely everyone feels safe and works with amazing morals. Very firm but your always looked after, an absolute credit to the door team and someone who will go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time

   Came back after an incident last year and was pleasantly surprised. It feels like the place has really turned things around. Security has been switched out for friendly, approachable staff who make you feel comfortable and safe-Jess on the door was lovely. Bar team were fast and welcoming. No entrance fee, and they had a live band playing, which made for a great free night out. Glad I gave it another shot!

   An absolutely fantastic experience- the DJ set during the day was fab and they have a variety of different events going on all through the summer that have caught our interest, but more importantly I am beyond grateful for how inclusive and safe the staff make the place - I took my brother who has learning difficulties and autism out yesterday for a drink in a pub garden by the waterfront and stumbled upon red by night in the process- we were only intending to stay out till 6:30 but everyone was chatting away with him and he was so energised and excited when given the chance to stick around, it was so nice seeing him chattering away with the security and the bartenders and the owner spent so much time chatting with him and checking in on him and was so encouraging to him, we ended up staying until 10:30 for the live tribute band and I finally got my brother his first nightlife experience I'd been promising him for months!! Thank you so much to James, to Dan, Jazz and all the rest of the bartenders who were answering all his questions and recommending drinks to him and also thankyou to Ali on the door for chatting away to him we will definitely be returning here as soon as possible :) the place to go if you want a friendly, welcoming, inclusive safe space

   Atrocious night last night - my 'fish bowl' drink I was sharing with niece was taken with alcohol still in it (was behind me on table & didn't see straight away that it was taken). When I realised I asked who I thought was a bar 'man,' (I use that term loosely as he no man I tell you), to replace it. He was immediately angry & rude - at first he said he had thrown only ice away - I disagreed - then he rudely ignored me after mouthing off to nobody in particular & told the young barman to give me a short drink - again I refused. Next thing the bar 'man' - who I was told is the manager when I asked for him - yelled at another 'man' (supposed door man) to "get her out!" I was told to leave & when I refused I was pushed & pulled & had to shout to try & make them stop! One was man handling me & then 2 more bouncers joining in! I had to go past the table my friends & I were at - saying goodbye & telling them to stay - trying to reach for my coat & bag off stool - but I was still being pulled/pushed out! I very strongly shouted at the 3 bouncers I was going & for them to keep their hands off me! They denied pushing & pulling me! Even worse they threw out my friends/family who had been outside & just come back with fresh drinks. Please note - I am 58 years old, a social worker, was sober - and had 3 bouncers round me touching me! Intimidated is not the word - felt like I was lifted off my feet at one point. NEVER been treated like that in my life! Oh - turns out the geek with dirty blonde hair & shameful ponytail is the manager or deputy manager! No communication skills & terrible team skills - oh the main 'man' who did the pushing acknowledged the geek manager is not a nice person - though he used a different descriptive but apt word! Waiting on police & either way will def complete form for SiA. I'm sure the little man had no card on him! Oh finally (I promise) the angry looking & rude female door person - just to come over & tell me not to waste police time by calling them! Great work Red by Night team - bullies & liars and just thank God for cctv - if it's still there! Rant over. No stars but had to give one to post review. Anybody else had this experience?!
