   0 Star I had an extremely disappointing experience at this store. I visited to purchase a clothing airer that was advertised online for £6.75. Upon arriving, I noticed the staff giving me unfriendly looks, and when I asked about the item, they informed me that the price was over £35! I felt unwelcome, and the atmosphere was uncomfortable. It seemed that customers who weren’t part of their community were treated differently. Not a store I’d recommend.

   An excellent shop. They stock a super wide range of products, everything you could possibly need. The shopkeeper was very helpful, informative and friendly and I am very happy with the product quality. Highly recommended!

   Dropped in yesterday as I was looking for some small but powerful magnets. The gentleman who served me was so helpful and gave some excellent advice. Picked up a few other things while I was there as they have a wide range in stock, all good quality. It’s a pleasure to support an independent business and even though I live some distance away I’d happily return. Fabulous shop and great service.

   Everything I have bought from this place does not last. Following the overly defensive response from the vendor (which indicates a lack of the most basic customer service), I have demoted the review to one star. It is not my job to provide you with “specification” to assist you in any internal review or investigation. It is your job to ensure that high quality products are stocked, which you have failed in. Notwithstanding the above, and off the top of my head: (1) Mop and mop bucket: bucket cracked and therefore leaked after a few months (2) Adhesive wall hooks: I purchased the more expensive option, being told that they would last longer. They barely lasted a couple of days. I then purchased an equivalent from Amazon, which are still going strong after about 6 months (3) Cake tins – started to leak after less than 6 months. I would be fascinated to hear what action you now plan to take in order to rectify the above.

   Decided to buy from a local retailer rather than Amazon. Asked for a non display item, because of a slight blemish on the product I was purchasing. Enquired how business was, to which the owner replied, " better without customers who complain," or words to that effect. I was too stunned to react. Usually I would walk out without purchasing anything. The owner must have studied at the Basil Fawlty charm and customer care school. This time I have expressed my dissatisfaction by writing this revue. In future I shall stick with Amazon who provide the perfect customer service.
