   A proper awkward till worker last night. Awkward. Did everything i would use in a “not how to serve the public” promotional video. Some of the phrases he used. No mate Sorry mate Yeah mate We can’t do that mate Haven’t you got receipt ? Have you got the work order? Oh. Yeah. Can’t do that mate. No mate Anything else ? Ended up going to screwfix, where they couldn’t be more helpful. Night and day. Just avoid the place

   Toolstation vs Screwfix Kenley Review Please read of my experience of these front line trade/diy outlets. The difference could not be more stark. It’s not the products, it’s not the staff, it’s the experience of them. Here’s the scenario. I’m decorating in all my spare time for christmas.The old ball and chain (wife) is channeling bustard foreman, and i’m nose to the grindstone. You know, nag nag, naaag. Anyway end of job, i’m a wallpaper table (unused) and a roll of lining paper left over. Both unused, both in their wrapping, both immaculate. Toolstation refuse point blank to refund for , the wallpaper about £7, against some masking tape. It’s over 45 days, nothing we can do mate . Anything else ? Absolutely laughable. What ? I’m going to ever to come back to you lot. Dear oh dear. I work in the NHS. I’ve been at work every day for thales two weeks. We are flat out in hospitals. Just laughable. I take the wallpaper into Screwfix, which is a properly set up, well run, forward thinking, helpful, loyal outfit. Refund no problem, we’ll stick the money in your account here. And there you have it in a nutshell. Toolstation: I’ll go back, but only if i really really, really have to Screwfix is just so much better every single day.

   Hello! I just wanted to leave a review because a man who works there Dean R absolutely made my day. He helped me buy the right equipment to fix my lawnmower; I didn't know I could do it myself and he helped me thoroughly. Dean was very quick, friendly and professional. He deserves all the praise he can get!!!

   I ordered online and collected the order about 2 hours later, plus bought another item at the counter. Staff are friendly and helpful. The whole process went smoothly. The main problem was that I didn't get a confirmation text or email to say that my goods were ready for collection. I tried calling the central number, but after a long wait, was still only 21 in the queue! ...so I hung up and just went to the store. The order was ready.

   This was my first ever experience at ToolStation Kenley and I must say the staff are extremely helpful and patient. I have been to other Hardware stores in the arear and they weren't as supportive. I would specifically like to thank Edward and Dean for taking the time to understand my issue and recommending the best products.

   Very handy and convenient. They have an extensive range of building supplies and most of the time in stock. You can check online before popping down. Staff are helpful and friendly and will give you the time to answer your questions. Parking is not an issue, plenty of space.
