People here are really lovely, helpful and friendly. I went up to place an order for delivery yesterday at around 16:00.They had everything I needed and it was delivered the following day at 8am. Also helped me with calculating how much I would need. Highly recommended.

Since the take over the place has gone down hill. You ask them for specific wood and lengths and they just try to give you a story about it’s the wrong wood and want to substitute. If we wanted something else we wouldn’t be asking for such specific length, width etc. The man who works in the shop and is responsible for the day to day communication really does lack people skills. And as I’ve seen you say you cut to length you sure don’t. Very unhelpful and feeling like you are being talked down to. Not the way to conduct your selfs. You have taken over a company that had a really good customer base and they knew how to treat there customers. With that in mind and the fact you seem to think this kinda business is gonna last longer than 5 mins is laughable. Good luck you have lost another customer. For anyone reading this. There is a screw fix not 2 mins up the road I would advise if you can get what you need there go there and save yourself some time. The delivery driver is was nice and helpful it’s a shame he’s manager told him off in front of me also. He was only trying to help. Which was more than the ‘manager’ done.
I have used Squires several times and ALL the staff I have encountered have been nothing short of wonderful. Incredibly helpful, patient and kind (when I mis-measure my wood and have to return!) and just generally lovely. I would highly recommend them.
