   Great shop. I needed a lock and Wickes couldn’t help, but this shop was brilliant. I got the perfect lock, the shopkeeper even modified it for me and then cut two extra copies of the keys. In and out in 5 minutes, problem solved. A brilliant asset to Penge.

   Words can't say how grateful I am to this establishment. Having just moved into a flat we desperately needed to get our washing machine up and running. However, we didn't have the right part to fit it and needed it urgently. I phoned through and the shop keeper waited for me to arrive and helped me find the right part and even said if it wasn't the right one I could return it. It was the right part and our washing machine finally worked, I highly recommend this DIY shop.

   Im very disappointed with the service I received in this store as a girl. I've been to this store twice now and the first time I felt very uncomfortable as every guy including the workers were staring at me, and today I went in and it was quite busy so I started browsing looking for what I needed and I hear a guy behind the counter go "why is this girl here?" and I could feel that I was not welcome. Its 2024 girls should be able to go in DIY stores without feeling creeped on by old guys. Only one guy actually tried to help me but the older guy behind the counter was rude and sexist.

   A great Local DIY shop, very friendly staff, competitive prices, they always seem to have what I need and if they dont, they 9 times of of 10 are able to order it in. During the global pandemic they've been open compared to some of the big chain DIY shops. I highly recommend Fernando and his team at penge DIY!!

   If you need a great DIY shop who not only stock most items required, but go out of their way to help you in terms of advice. They have always been there for me over the last 5 years when I moved to Penge and today I had a problem with a padlock I purchased from them last week and they came out straight away as local to the shop to rectify the problem. Such a great team. Thanks!
