   I was given the best customer service at the waltham cross branch by a Polish member of staff when I went yo buy a shower today. She was REALLY helpful, polite, very cheerful and happy and literally left what she had been doing to go out the back of the store and get my shower for me ! Literally nothing was too much of a problem for her ! FIRST CLASS SERVICE FROM THIS LADY, TOTAL CREDIT TO THE STAFF AND STORE AT WALTHAM CROSS AND A CREDIT TO WICKES AS A COMPANY ! WELL DONE !!! Please ensure the store manager sees this review

   Verry bad. The sign on the front says if you can find a product cheaper locally. Wicks will match the price. This is a lie. I provided a quote for timber locally. The manager refused to honour there word.. I am taking them to trading. standards

   Decent layout and it's generally easy to find what you need. The queueing system doesn't work too well due to the position and layout of the tills, and queues with large flatbed trolleys can interfere with 2 of the commonly used aisles. Selection and stock are usually good. I'm a DIYer so don't use them heavily, but they usually have what I need in stock. Prices are generally reasonable when compared with the mainstream (not trade account) competition. Update 31/12/2022 I've used them a couple more times since the first review and it's been quieter in there. My point about the till location and longer queues, especially when customers (probably trade) have flatbed trolleys stacked up still stands as it clogs the whole exit area and tops of the first 2 aisles, however if you're fortunate enough to visit when there aren't 2-3 people in the queue with flatbeds, then you'll have a better shopping and checkout experience.

   The staff were helpful some more than others. Most are knowledgeable on the items .Great store in terms of products ,pretty much everything you would need. And if they don't have in store you can get ordered in . Return policy is 30 days, and refunds via credit card are only 48 hours .There is free parking and staff even help bring big products to your vehicle .
