I can’t recommend this space enough. Particularly aerial hoop and aerial yoga. The monitor, classes and people that attend are amazing. So sad that this will close its doors in April.

I've been coming to the hoop and handstand and yoga classes for a couple of years now and it's my absolute favourite, happy place. It's so friendly and welcoming and fun. We just had my daughter's birthday party here and the girls had the best time. The annual aerial Weekenders are incredible. I really can't recommend it enough. Go give it a try!

I started doing beginner’s hoop in May after a few years of no exercise due to injuries. I’ve been really surprised and impressed by what I’ve been able to achieve over the past few months. The instructors are all really friendly and encouraging, they are happy to modify shapes and exercises to meet everyone’s needs and will cheer you on when you need it. Everyone I’ve met who comes to classes is also really friendly and keen to help own another out. It is a really kind, supportive community and I’m over the moon to be a part of it. I’ve essentially moved into the studio over the last few months, and highly recommend it to everyone I meet. If you’re not sure about giving Leeds Aerial Arts a go, all I’d say is try - you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what you achieve if you give it a go, and you’ll never know if you don’t start.

Brilliant staff team and amazing to see LAA doing so well. however since move to the new studio it just isn’t really yogi friendly anymore. Classes with gaby used to be so relaxing but the new venue is always too bright, noisy and cold, and then they started running other classes at the same time which means you can hardly hear what is said during meditations. Aerial yoga is no longer worth the money sadly, but I hope they keep smashing it with the other classes

Absolutely can’t speak highly enough of Leeds Aerial Arts! I started with a 4-week beginners course in March, and 10 months later I haven’t missed a week — unheard of! A really great and complementary range of classes, supportive teachers and a fantastic community. Love it.

I went for beginning Ariel yoga class, but because other people in the class were advanced we ended up doing advanced class. Everyone was very kind and patient, but I did feel a little bit stupid afterwards cos I felt it should of actually been beginners stuff. I didn’t go back.

Fantastic aerial school - lovely, friendly, supportive atmosphere to train in. I had booked a drop-in silks class while staying in the area, which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to instructor injury, but Lorna contacted everyone promptly, refunded the lesson fee immediately, and insisted on letting us use the equipment for self training at no charge! She was also on hand with some great advice. Can't ask for more than that... I'll definitely visit again when I'm back in the area!

Leeds Aerial Arts is simply a wonderful asset for the city of Leeds. I have been doing their Aerial Sling class regularly for a few years now and I am amazed how far I have come both physically and mentally as a result. The classes are just the perfect full body workout, without even noticing. The teachers are always fun, bubbly and helpful whilst at the same time push you to reach your potential getting the absolute most out of every class and each beautiful shape they help you to create in the air! I have tried a number of different classes at LAA and although I haven’t been able to stick to all of them due to my own busy work schedule, I have always found every class the perfect escape from the ordinary day to day routine and with a wide variety of different classes available either in flight or quite firmly on the ground, there certainly is something for everyone at any level, from complete beginner to the more advanced aerialist! I would always recommend aerial sling with the marvellous Maisie as, that is such a cool class and I also really recommend the new Flying Pilates with the lovely Lorna too as, that is the perfect way of developing a floor based workout to be far more interesting through making certain elements airborne. If you really want to progress quickly in superbly nurturing environment then, the private lesson are an ideal solution and are actually rather affordable with deals available if you book a block. I have always felt super welcome at LAA and particularly love the whole one big family vibe the place has. The new studio is incredible! It’s extremely spacious, has fantastic comfortable facilities and its in a great location just on the outskirts of the city centre with good transport links. I personally had very little physical strength when I started at Leeds Aerial Arts and had never done anything like it before so, I have been very impressed with where the journey has taken me so far in a reasonably short time along with the opportunities that have also come my way through being a part of this fab little community. I never thought I would survive my first class never mind reach the stage where I am able to do an aerial photo shoot and get some really great images to keep so, I am very grateful for all the team has done for me. If you have ever thought about giving Aerial a go or have wondered what it feels like, this is the place to give it a try! I don’t believe you will regret it!
