   Bad customer service I tried Travis many times since I am a trader and I need materials (door linings, cement and multiple tools). I hired their tools and asked them twice to deliver them and both times they were late. Maybe it was me, just wasn’t lucky those times. Today I wanted to return 2 bags of mortar 20kg each. So I went there with one of the bags and asked them to do the return for me. (The day before I purchased 5 bags but I ended up not using all of them.) I am not in my twenties anymore so I thought I’d bring just one with me, leave it at the shop and ask them where I could bring the other one. The cashier told me that he could not accept it, that I had to bring it to the warehouse. I kindly asked if I could bring the other one to the warehouse and leave that one with him as there are always more than 10 employees in the shop and I am 50, it’s a bit heavy for me. I am giving my money to Travis, I am paying and I am a regular customer, I would expect at least someone to help me with heavy materials. This is what I believe. They did not want to hear any reasons. Anyway I took the bag and brought it to the warehouse. When I arrived I could see one staff member from the till pointing at me and talking with who was working at the warehouse. I put the mortar bag on the floor and I asked to return it and that I had the second one in the car. The guy at the warehouse started to say that he was not going to accept the bag, that it was broken and he could not sell it. The bag was closed and in the same condition it was sold to me the day before. So I asked him how come he sold it to me the day before in that condition if it cannot be sold. We started to argue and the cashier became very rude. When the manager arrived the situation got even worst. My question is: why are you guys like that? You just sit in front of your laptop while the traders have to find customers, to find the money to get the materials from you and do the hard part of the job. Without the traders you would not be selling those materials. Who else is going to buy a bag of mortar or door frames? You need us to buy your materials but instead of making our life easier, you are just rude, lazy and expensive.

   The actual warehouse and shop have been made bigger very recently. The parking is on the road outside, but there is a no parking restriction between 10-12. The staff are friendly enough. It is a wood yard, but there are many other products available and hire.

   Rob and his team are fantastic - very friendly and knowledgeable, went there recently for timber and they couldn't have been more helpful. I had some basic measurements but they took the time to check what I was actually trying to do and gave me some great advice for how to complete the project I was working on.
