   I absolutely love this shop. I think it's better than B&Q and as another reviewer mentioned the owner is very knowledgeable and polite and courteous. This is a gem of a shop. I have purchased items such as a shopping trolley to a clothes airer. It's very much Aladins cave. We all need to keep supporting local businesses as much as possible.

   Superb shop, somehow seems to have more stock variety than B&Q, plus very knowledgable and friendly staff. It’s easy to park around the corner, and always my first choice for DIY supplies, but you do see the trades in there also. Finally, usually much less expensive than the big boys. Keep trading!    I had to leave a review. The gentlemen at this hardware shop is phenomenal. I called for a specific hook end bolt and he called me back with 2 that he had searched for, for me. I then called back for extra nuts and he was so helpful. Everything was at a very reasonable price. Will definitely recommend this place to cater for all your hardware needs.

   I have only used this particular shop on a few occasions it's probably a bit old fashioned in comparison with bigger stores but the owner is very good. Prices are about par for the course I would definitely recommend it. Convenient for rail stations & bus connections.

   Chris has been here for virtually as long as I can remember, and has always been my go-to for those odds and ends that you invariably need from masonry drill bits and radiator paint to getting spare keys cut or picking up a yard broom. In fact on doormats alone the place thrashes the big box places down the road. Packed to the gills with useful, quality hardware.

   For a small hardware shop the range of products is really good, and the owner's product knowledge and advice is excellent. I rarely go to the huge B&Q about a mile away these days, as I can find most of my needs here far far more quickly (ok, not garden furniture and other large items!).
