   I stop by this shop often but unfortunately, the customer service has been consistently disappointing. Out of roughly twenty visits only three have been pleasant. The staff often appear dismissive and uninterested in assisting customers. On several occasions, I have waited at the counter while employees continued personal conversations with coworkers, only to be acknowledged with visible annoyance. During one visit, I asked a question about hook sizes and which yarn would be best. The staff member responded with a loud sigh and an unhelpful answer, leaving me feeling uncomfortable. I ultimately decided not to purchase anything because I felt I had bothered the staff member and felt uncomfortable. On another occasion, I was waiting near the front of the shop due to a long queue at the yarn counter. I was second in line and had no issue waiting. However, the staff member behind the counter loudly called out to me, asking why I wasn’t at the yarn counter. When I explained that there was a long line, she responded, “Well, I’m the only one here,” which implied I was somehow causing the delay. The exchange felt unnecessary and uncomfortable infront of the other shop goers. Overall, these repeated experiences have made visiting the shop deeply unpleasant

   I visited today to buy some plush yarn for a new project. The whole selection of yarn is fantastic, I found what I needed after much deliberation. I was served by a wonderful friendly person, but I didn’t get her name. She had piercings and cool hair and she asked about my piercings and my current yarn project. I hope she gets a raise and everything she wants in life.

   Huge fabric shop in the northern quarter of Manchester. Not much to look at from the outside but it it's a treasure cove containig a vast range of stuff including yarn. We visited as my wife does crochet and she was looking for discounted yarn which she found. These places are not that common anymore so do visit and support them.

   I wish I could tell you more about this store but after rolling from my hotel for 10 minutes there was no step free access to enter nor any member of staff who responded when I called for assistance. Obviously I will not be returning. Not wheelchair accessible. No staff assistance. No thanks.

   Super helpful staff, happy to spend time discussing my first upcycling textile project and colour scheme n materials to go with the colours and decor in the living room. Also to make a colourful but simple summer shift dress with printed cotton. Could have spent hours in there rummaging through all varieties of fabric Knocked a star off due to difficult disabled access into the shop, and there is another floor with no disabled access. Shame otherwise fantastic shop for fabrics, patterns n all extras, needed.

   Able to purchase what I wanted. Shop is well stocked staff very helpful. Not happy that it is card payment only, forcing you into a cashless society. I prefer to use cash as it is easy to manage a budget and keep an eye on spending. If its going to be card only in the future, I will have to shop elsewhere having shopping at the store for many years.

   Large craft store, staff very friendly and helpful. Offer refunds for unwanted items. Don't accept cash. Needle felting assortment was a bit disappointing and none of the staff knew anything about it / could advise, but I don't hold that against them as you can't be an expert on everything. Overall a store worth visiting if you need craft supplies.
