A very poor experience with B&Q Customer Services. With call Centre Out sourced in Souafrica. Simply doesn’t want to know or assist the customer. I’am happy to share the details of I’am encountering for any responsible person who is handing the account.
Excellent service from Kai in bathroom section. Tap required was not on the shelf. He looked and found item in another stock area, fetching a ladder to retrieve it. 10/10
Dear B&Q, thank you for this very disappointing experience. Staff were unhelpful and refused a return, claiming each store manager sets their own policy. A product showed as in stock but couldn’t be purchased because it was on high racking and no one could get it down. It’s been showing the same stock online for a week... clearly, stock rotation sn’t a priority. A total waste of time. So the saga continues… After being told yesterday the item would be ready for us to collect this morning, we went back to the store only to find — guess what — the stock is still sitting on the high racking and it's not possible to get it down. Perhaps “third time lucky” should be the motto of this store? We shall find out tomorrow. Very poor stock management, and wasted trips. Truly disappointing.
Great b&q with great prices. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They also have space saving products and designs that look stylish. They have gardening, painting, decor, building equipment, key cutting, and so much more here.
Extremely friendly and helpful employees and the security guard scanned all my shopping just to be helpful. Much appreciated. I had some paint mixed too for the first time and was given very good service and helpful advice.
A well laid out store with all the usual diy items. Not as big as the B&Q store on the Greenwich Peninsular but they still have quite a range of items. Staff were friendly and it's easy to park as they have their own car park. The interior of it could have been cleaner, but this may be due to the fact that it sells lots of sand, bricks, woods etc which must make it hard to keep clean.
Friendly staff, happy to help. Well organised with variety of products. But this is a smaller store, for larger size plywood and MDF you may have to go for bigger stores. No cutting services either Plenty of parking spaces and easy to access from high street
My happy place, if you have time and money, you can actually build anything and B&Q will help you. Pro tip: ask the staff members if you can’t find something better get input into your side project.
Yesterday I had a really bad experience in this store, my 5 year old daughter urgently needed to go to the toilet, I asked the employee (if I'm not mistaken her name was Lizzie, a young woman) and she immediately replied that there was no bathroom, very rude, when I insisted, because a young guy had taken us to the bathroom once in the past at this same store, she said there was no staff to show us where the bathroom was. The store was practically empty, there was only one customer at the checkout and another employee would be free in a few minutes. But she was very rude and didn't even think about helping us. I said, "she's just a child". She didn't care. On the way to the car she wet her clothes. I only came back because I really needed to take home what I went to buy and there were three employees just on the short path I took inside the store, all of them unoccupied. I felt disappointed and humiliated, feeling very sorry for my little girl. She is just a child. There's no point going back to this store if we're not welcome there. Mostly a child.
