   We visited Toolstation today to pick up a few items. My 4-year-old child has sensory needs and tends to touch things out of curiosity. While we tried our best to manage him and told him several times not to touch, the staff member behind the till was quite rude and dismissive. Instead of offering any understanding, he remarked, “Can’t you stop him? And was complaining about the shelves might fall off as they were secure.” which felt very unkind and unhelpful, especially given the situation. The queue was also quite long, adding to the stress. I didn’t catch his name, but he was an Asian man with shoulder-length hair. It's important for public spaces, especially customer service environments, to be inclusive and understanding—regardless of whether a person’s needs are visible or not. A little empathy can go a long way.

   Manager doesn’t respect the consumer right to return and has attitude. The company in general has poor customer service. Would avoid if possible. Ordered a product that was inferior and didn’t work as it should, tried to return it within 14 Days, manager rohit refused because the packaging had been opened and they couldn’t ‘resell’ despite the product being unused. Shocking for a trade seller. Never had this problem with their competitors. Tried resolving it with their online team also had the same crappy customer service. Saying that the Dagenham store was awesome.

   Fantastic customer service , Eunice was great and her service was outstanding, felt very welcome and will be coming back to the store for sure. Extremely helpful individual. We need more individuals like here in stores across the city !

   In a customer service role, when you turn up for the job you know there will be a few challenges. Customers will not know or care if you had a bad day. So don't be patronising or showing attitude when serving people on the counter. I appreciate it's a bank holiday weekend and you may want to be elsewhere but serving with a smile goes a long way Samina. Arguing with customers and showing your frustration is not a Toolstation that's you.

   Popped in quickly as a matter of urgency as water pipe broke and needed a connector to fix it. Rude Member of staff told me he is here only to type in catalog nr and collect payment when asked which one would be the best to use. May as well order it online and what's the point having sales staff when you could just Argos it...
