   I m just on my way back home. The customer care person ( who closes down the shop shutter) was very rude. We bought big heavy soil packs and we were at the billing almost about to pay when it was not even 5.55pm. the person closed the shutter and asked us to walk around to get to the car park. Not sure why he forced us out of the shop difficult way out when it wasn't even 6 pm. To Wilko: Please don't employ people who are unhappy with their work

   Usually head to Bexleyheath but for convenience called here. Always good for picking up some great priced household goods although on this occasion their bird seed was more expensive than pets at home. Staff really helpful in showing where the items were that we wanted.

   Excellent place for all your needs of toiletries to pet products, DIY and kitchen, home , cleaning and stationary! With a friendly and helpful atmosphere! Opening times were reduced to 5pm closing due to pandemic, but are now back open until 6pm. Social distancing still applies.

   Last month I went to Wilko in search of some weed killer. Not realising during winter months they are not sold. However, I didn't find out until after the security man spent his time following me around in the store. When it was reported I was informed that a manager would get in contact although nobody did. When I called the store to find out why nobody had contacted, I was told that security are allowed to follow you around as long they don't touch you. I said even if the individual feels uncomfortable, her response yes. I do believe more training is required in shops like this, as I believe more people would shop in places like this as the prices are reasonable and quality isn't bad but the staff need to be trained to work with customers better.

   They stock quite a range of typical homewares & home consumables but are particularly good for routine garden, DIY tools & hardware.Their prices generally aren't bad, especially given they're a traditional bricks-and-motar store. As for issues, their only real problems are the often long checkout waits and sometimes severe lack of staff.
