   I went to see if they could help me with a lock spindle not only did they have the right one , when I asked the price he said if I had £1 for a local charity box as payment. Very knowledgeable about lock's doors ect nothing was too much trouble, will definitely use again if needed , a good old fashioned hardware store . Thank you for your help and kindness

   Husband phoned in August about replacement black wrought iron handles by two, One for the kitchen door and one for the garage door. The ones on there already were brass coloured and gone pitted and rusty looking with age. Husband told the man who answered his call what he wanted and what size they had to be to replace the existing ones answer if you look on our website you might find what you want there. Attitude of very not interested at all. Hence went to local Forge and had them made to the size we needed lovely job cost £60.00 so that is our custom you have lost and sure we are not the only ones you have lost with an employee so not interested,

   I like Gradans because it is one of the few Hardware shops of it's type left. The quality of their goods is excellent, the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. When I'm not sure exactly what I want I buy both, knowing full well that there's no cut off date for taking back the one I don't need. Wickes, B&Q etc are okay but pretty much all sell the same stuff and you get what you pay for. Some of Gradans stuff isn't cheap but it keeps it's appearance and lasts.

   Super helpful and friendly staff! I was looking for a particular screw for my handle even though they don't stock it they still offer me some advice which I eventually got what I needed. Will definitely considering using their service considering how helpful and friendly they are.
