I just wanted to take the time to praise this company well more importantly the owners of this DIY shop in Stifford clays Germons. I went there today looking for a pad lock and also enquired about bolt cutters, the shop didn’t have the bolt cutters but offered to lend their own personal ones. This may only seem like a very small thing but finding businesses who are willing to help someone they don’t know at no cost, and the generously this owner showed myself this morning. There isn’t many people like this still in this world unfortunately and it honestly really touched me and made my day. So I just wanted to Thank you again Germons for your kindness and help today it was honestly really appreciated.
Wanted £79.99 for a 10kg gasflow refill everywhere else is £49.99 to £55.99 including delivery ..... at that difference i give up on trying to support local independent businesses

Friendly staff with a store stocked with most hardware you could need at a reasonable price. Today I went there for some road salt for the pavements near where I live and he had loads of bags that had started to deteriorate due to the sun and offered me as much as I wanted for free, all I had to do was shovel it out of the bags into some reusable shopping bags.
Good little Proper hardware store for when you cant face Hige DIY shops. Friendly staff with a good range of products.
