In Traveltalk, we have found a truly bespoke travel service, where attention to detail is paramount. We have used Traveltalk for all our major holidays, long and short-haul, over the last ten years. Our experience is of a company fully dedicated to delivering an amazing personal experience. The agents are knowledgeable and are skilled researchers so that every detail is covered. More importantly, they don't 'disappear' - we know that, during and indeed, after, a holiday, they are always on the other end of the line if we need them.
We have used Traveltalk for over 20 years for long and medium haul holidays. We’ve normally worked out a rough outline of where we want to go and what we want to do, and the team has then put together a suggested detailed plan, which between us is then refined to give the finished article. The holidays have always been terrific and it’s been obvious that there has been a good deal of knowledge and expertise gone into designing the final itinerary and making all the appropriate bookings. There has only ever been one minor problem, in the US, which wasn’t Traveltalk’s fault, but which was sorted out by them very quickly indeed.
We have used Traveltalk on 3 occasions over the past 5 years, there was a 4th planned for this year but alas… On every occasion Traveltalk have used their world of expertise to help tailor our holidays to generate experiences that we will never forget. Last year they helped us plan a trip to Japan; we like to tour so our itinerary had to cover some places that are not always seen as a major tourist destination for European visitors. Traveltalk were excellent in providing everything we needed to ensure our trip was memorable, briefly they provided: a brochure for every destination with details of places of interest, where to eat, drink the history of the area etc. JR rail passes, IC (smart card) that was useful on buses, undergrounds, shops, a personal 1 day guide when in Tokyo, historical guide when we were in a small town in the mountains, varied accommodation (Western style hotels, Ryokans, traditional inns) as we requested, so that we could experience some Japanese culture. Travel talk also organised tickets for shows and much much more. We have no hesitation in recommending Traveltalk, they help to tailor your trips so that you can travel with confidence knowing that you will have a great experience and that they are their to support you should any difficulties arise
I have been lucky enough to enjoy two holidays planned by the fantastic staff at Traveltalk; a family holiday to Australia and more recently our honeymoon to South Africa. The service we received was superb on both occasions, particularly for our honeymoon where Sue and Ben made so many great recommendations and really tailored the itinerary to suit us. I would highly recommend this travel agent and hope to be able to book another holiday with them again in the future!
