   My youngsters son goes to the swimming club here and has only been going for around 6 months. The volunteer coaches have made him feel very welcome, and it's like being part of a community. There are over 100 swimmers in the club over four generations. It's such a shame that the council is closing the pool in a couple of weeks due to the amount of money it will cost to repair the building and rising bills.

   I was a start stopper of all gyms but I came back to active one week ago to get me back in shape and I felt so welcomed by staff and other users. I was so nervous to go to aqua fit and all members and the coach were brilliant even a member of staff put on a coffee and biscuit morning for free not always but it was nice to sit and chat.

   Gym has been renovated . Shower facilities changing rooms and remainder definitely needs updating fixing broken tiles locks on changing room doors etc staff are lovely amd work hard instructors are good and great range of classes.

   Take our daughters for swimming practice. Friendly instructors, changing rooms are clean with plenty of lockers. Toilets could do with a quick clean a little more often and abit more seating in the waiting area would be good. Otherwise a decent leisure centre.

   My partner tells me that at least twice whilst in the changing room, a male member of staff, the cleaner, has opened the door and peeked in to see if it's safe to come in to clean. Luckily, she was dressed on those occasions. Also once, on a Sunday at the end of the women's session, another male member of staff did the same to see if the changing room was empty. She tells me that, on talking to other women, this has happened to them too. They now have a permanent sign on the female changing room door warning that a male member of staff may be in attendance. One woman said she now is very wary and takes out her earbuds when entering in case she doesn't hear the door opening. This is unacceptable - women should not be having to be on guard whilst in a female changing room.
