    Rüdesheim/ Koblenz Christmas Markets Never again!! -So they advertise ‘LOCAL pickup’ but there’s no such thing. They use a feeder service (small print in T&S) and everyone has to travel to London Victoria to meet the coach, which usually means multiple forms of additional transport ie taxis, trains, underground regardless of the pickup point stated on the booking confirmation. -Our final travel document stated that we would be staying on the same coach from London Victoria to Germany which was then changed again as we had to transfer coach once more at Medway/Kent. -They missed a passenger on the coach we had to transfer to at Medway who had to be retrieved, this delayed the coach by well over two hours and resulted in us missing our ferry and adding a further delay of 2 1/2 hours waiting at Dover for the next available ferry, so about five hours delay adding to our already very long journey. Our luggage had been unloaded as we arrived at the services and left outside of the coach, fortunately it wasn’t pouring with rain -Even without delays the journey is about 14 hours minimum which is longer than indicated in their itinerary. Our journeys took 20 1/2 and 14 hours respectively -We took the recommended boat trip to St Goar with a few hours ‘free time to explore this beautiful town’. Well on arrival we found everything was shut for the entire season which is normal for this place but the staff weren’t aware and no one at the hotel mentioned this. Not even a place to get a coffee or warm up. So everyone trapsed around in wind and rain for the entire time until the coach picked us up which was yet another issue as the pickup point was changed. -We boarded the coach extra early for our return journey at 7am which meant a rushed breakfast, the hotel couldn’t serve before 6:15am at the very earliest, but it was supposed to give the coach extra time to ensure we wouldn’t miss the ferry again. However we literally just made the ferry with less than 10 minutes to spare. We had to go around passport control twice as there was a misunderstanding scanning the passports -The coach drivers doubled up as tour guides on the journeys to Koblenz and Rüdesheim but didn’t have a clue about the area and instead just read from the Goldcrest website which everyone had already done themselves anyway -The hotel was very basic and very dated and the staff not overly friendly. We never got to use the main restaurant for our meals but were seated in the function room and made to feel like second class guests -Meals choices were limited to two options. -There are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms which is stated on their website. Some bottled water is available in the rooms at an extortionate rate of €5.20 a bottle. -The rooms are VERY basic but at least clean. WC seat lose and loo needed a deep clean under the rim. Maintenance was needed in the bathroom. -If using the bar/ restaurant and needing the loo it was a case of either two flights downstairs with a long walk through the basement/ storage area and filthy loos at the end (first night two loos had faeces in them), or use the one in our room which meant going up to the fourth floor in our case. -We tried to cancel the trip when we received the email informing us about the change of pick up point but the timing of the email / cancellation meant we would have lost 75% of our money. We were already stressed knowing we would have to travel 45 miles into central London at rush hour with all our luggage but decided to try and make the best of it. Little did we realise things were only going to get even more stressful. We will not be booking a tour like this again. We will visit the markets again as they are truly amazing however we will do it under our own steam booking crossing, hotel etc ourselves.

    Gold Crest Holidays, thank you for an absolutely amazing holiday! We just returned from Disneyland Paris, traveling The Royal Experience to the 5 star Disneyland Hotel. From start to finish, the adventure was impressive. All staff were accommodating, informative, and polite – nothing was too much trouble.     From start to finish, our Gold Crest holiday was nothing short of magical! The journey was seamless, from taxi to feeder bus to the luxurious main coach, every transfer was handled with care (and yes, even our mountain of luggage was whisked away and transferred over to the next transport by the amazing staff ). The main coach itself was a dream, from the spotless coach , comfy seats with built in tablets/tv offering films, games, music, and more, plus a table, toilet, and everything we needed to travel in style. But the real star of the show? The incredible driver, Mark. He went above and beyond for every single passenger. He was friendly, funny, and full of brilliant tips about the parks. He kept us informed, entertained, and reassured throughout the journey, especially when we felt a little unsure. His warmth and professionalism made the whole experience feel effortless and exciting. I love the fact you can pick different hotels to suit your budget too, on or off sight hotels. On our arrival we were given paper park tickets for the park, you can link them to the app but you can’t access the tickets on the app. This doesn’t affect you doing the virtual queues though as they are linked. You aren’t given a link for the app either, but this doesn’t stop you from booking restaurants. Honestly, it was better than flying and far more enjoyable. We’re already telling everyone about it and will be recommending Gold Crest (and especially #TeamMark!) to all our friends and family as well as on our social media. Can’t wait to book our next adventure with you soon. Thank you for making this trip truly unforgettable.

    Myself and my Seven year old Autistic\ADHD son traveled to Disneyland Paris on the 12th October for the 5 day trip. Honestly I could not fault it.. We stayed at Disney Dream Castle, which was infact a dream! There were free shuttle buses outside regularly however we chose to use Ubers which didn’t cost much at all. The journey there and back went as smoothly as can be expected. The coaches were comfortable, had TV’s a toilet, drinks etc . We did not have to change coaches throughout our journey bar the shuttle bus to the main coach. I was dreading the long journey however this wasn’t an issue because the coach driver Mark was AMAZING, he kept us updated throughout, regular stops, he was entertaining for the kids and the adults.. he was very patient and accommodating to my son with additional needs. Mark went above and beyond for all of his passengers. When we travel again with Goldcrest we would very much hope to have Mark as our driver again. Lovely guy, and awesome trip all round! Nic.

    Just arrived back from a Gold Crest coach trip to Disneyland Paris. The drivers were brilliant, very informative and entertaining, and the hotel was fabulous. I can’t give more stars but would if I could. I will definitely book for this trip again.

    Just returned from Disneyland Paris 5 day, 4 night trip. Would love to give more stars as drivers generally were fantastic. Unfortunately I think the company needs to source areas to where they can dispose of the toilet waste and refill with water in or near Paris. Surely during the 3 days the drivers had, there could be an arrangement made for somewhere to empty and refill. Telling passengers, many being young children, that the toilet facilities were no longer in order due to no water and full waste tank, just isn’t acceptable.

    Booked, Disney holiday through gold crest holidays, they were extremely helpful leading up to the trip.could not fault them. Gold crest, used delta coach company that took us on our trip. Could not fault Delta coach company or the 2 drivers. Friendly and professional service. On way home from Disney, ferry workers in France, decided to do a last minute strike. Delta coach company informed our drivers and arranged for the coach to travel back via the euro tunnel, which was faster at no extra cost to us as passengers.     4 day trip to Disneyland Paris. Upgraded to New York Art of Marvel hotel due to not being able to be picked up at our nearest point (booked 2 weeks before date of travel).     We are just back from an amazing trip to Disneyland in Paris with my family. Our third trip with Gold Crest. Superb from start to finish. Coach drivers were funny and entertaining and lots of films were played during our journey. The new Avengers Campus is definitely worth visiting and the 30th show is well worth seeing. Can’t wait to go back next year!
