Great place to swim! The Manchester Aquatics Centre is always tidy, the pools are in great condition, and it’s excellent value compared to other gyms. Big shout-out to Martin, his kindness and willingness to help with anything really stand out. Staff like him make a huge difference.

I have been going to this center for a few weeks now and I am impressed to see how the team of the Aquatic center is made up of truly kind, cordial, and friendly people. The staff in the reception is super lovely and friendly and the really make sure that everyone his having a good experience. I wanna personally thank you Courtney, Danielle, Chris and Martin who are extremely lovely, extremely kind and friendly all the times. They really makes everyone feel welcomed and supported with their positive attitude. Also the instructors Andrea , Suzanne, Simona , Andria, Sneha are seriously really good instructors and personal trainers, each of them has something special to share in their classes and they are all super friendly, kind but maintaining the right dose of professionalism all time. Thank you for existing guys :)

Got my membership here recently. Facilities are good but the cleanliness lets it down massively. The pool and health suite changing rooms aren’t cleaned regularly enough. There are also no shoe racks so people will wear their outdoor shoes into the wet changing rooms and sauna areas which make it really dirty. Would be better to follow other gyms and have a shoe rack outside the changing areas and prohibit the wearing of shoes in that area. Hope it will improve soon but if it doesn’t will cancel my membership and try another gym

Went swimming here as a tourist and it was very easy to get access, you can register at the entrance or online. Entry was £6.50 and you can stay as long as you like. The pool is great, and there’s also a café and a bookshelf inside, which makes it a nice spot to spend time, especially on a rainy day. Lockers need a £1 coin. Overall, very convenient and welcoming.

I don’t think I will ever go back for swimming to this center. I booked swim for all, at around 3pm, ended up swimming for 30 min. When I arrived to the pool, there were nowhere to swim in the area ‘swim for all’, because there was some kids session, 2/3 of the pool was busy for kids. I asked staff where I can swim, with swim for all ticket, they said I can use 2 last lines. I tried to swim for 5 min, with 5 other people, and I just didn’t feel comfortable to do it. After I went back and complained about the situation. They let me go to fitness area, after 25 min, I was kicked out of fitness area because some other session started. So I went back and tried to go to swim for all area, as it was less busy. I was stopped by the member of staff as they said some other session will start now, and I can only swim with kids and parents. This is a joke, it is impossible to swim around 20 people in the small pool area and kids. So I paid for 30 min or so of swimming, £6.5. I went there to relax and have a good time, but in the end felt stressed and upset. Seems not fair. Also there are only 3 private shower cabins, so I had to wait a long time to go there. I am not sure how it is possible to pack all of these people in this area and still get money from them. Very disappointed.

Training pool only open at mo, sorry folks but the changing room and facilities cleanliness is far below par. Showers barely work. Good 50m pool open at weekends though. Staff friendly and helpful.

Great venue, well organised, kind and friendly staff, did not give 5 stars because of the lockers, only few available by pool side, the locks in most did not work. You can lose a few coins before you find a lock that works

Very dirty and overpriced for what you get. If the place was clean and without rusty gym equipment then the price might be acceptable. If the gym and changing rooms are this dirty then I hate to think of how dirty the swimming pools are. (Check Pictures). Also why charge extra money for the hairdryer? Every other gym offers this for free. Even if I wanted to pay for the hairdryer I can not see how much to pay as the metal price tag has rusted away. Claims that athlete's train here. Shocking if they really do.
