Poor customer service from Indian man. I told him that there was liquid behind a freezer near the wires and had to repeat myself three times because he couldn’t hear apparently. Once he finally heard me he gave a dirty look and said , these were his exact words “ Okay, what do you want me to do “. He was so rude. I didn’t spill it but I thought it was best to tell someone since it could be dangerous in case someone slipped or it touched any wiring. He definitely needs lessons on manners. Iceland should take care before hiring people.

The staff are continuously so cold towards customers. To be hired don’t you need to have good customer service. But then literally everyone is so cold and dismissive, I genuinely feel bad for asking them for anything. Except that one Somalian guy ( or East African guy) he’s so sweet and kind and is actually cheerful. The rest of the staff maybe there too old to work there now they just act like they are being forced to be there.

Iceland store in West Dayton (UK) really needs to improve their service. Every time there’s only one person on the till, and they are super slow. I don’t know the name, maybe they’re Asian (not sure), but they just keep chatting with customers instead of paying attention to the queue. People are standing in line, possibly in a rush, and they’re just talking casually like there’s no hurry. That’s probably why the West Dayton Iceland is always empty. If the service was faster, more customers would come. But people avoid it because they know it’s a waste of time. Too slow, too casual — not efficient at all.

There was an Indian lady on the till my partner asked about the big egg tray he was so humble to her , but she acted so rude and started making faces on him like why ??? I could have literally knocked her down there but I have manners unlike her . Teach your staff that they are here for customer service not anyone here is for there freaking mood fluctuations. And yes I didn’t buy anything from the store because of her behaviour.

Helped a friend with his shopping, as registered blind. Big store. I was very surprised it was quite empty. Good shop for frozen, meal deals, etc.

Nice layout, spacious. If they had parking of their own they would most definitely have more footfall. The frozen stuff is better value than even Aldi and Lidl.

Another more space in this store compared to a few other Icelands. Well stocked, excellent variety of frozen foods. Parking available around the corner by Wilkos.

Pleasant experience except at the tills and the long queues. Had a lot of items especially frozen.
