One of the best Tescos in the area. The staff are always helpful and the store is clean and well laid out. The community aspect is also great and is well regarded in the area. A++++
I rate this supermarket three stars due to its convenient location and my consistent patronage as a weekly customer; however, further improvements are desired. Firstly, it seems to be very selective about Tesco-owned brand products. Amersham Tesco has Tesco-owned brands for many items, but the Gerrards Cross branch does not seem to want to offer cheaper options, which are normally Tesco-owned brands. I don't know if that's because they want to make the store more upmarket by pushing more expensive mainstream brands or if it's because of a lack of space, but either way, it's something they need to improve. Secondly, the staff are very mixed, ranging from rude and incompetent to friendly and knowledgeable. There seems to be no consistency in the training.
This is a large Tesco with ample parking. It also has staff that knows where things can be found on the shelf. Thank you Kerry for helping me find the cocktail sausages, and giving great customer service!

My first visit here today, in short its a Tesco, so no surprises I suppose, this one however one seems well laid out as any, and with an active bakery and good selection of fresh bread when I visited on a Friday afternoon. It enjoys a nice sized car park with access via traffic lights which makes ingress and egress easy in a car. Its close to the station and in the centre of Gerrards Cross village, however, I must mention the staff, I spoke to a few to complete my shop and check out and what a lovely team they are, so cheery and helpful (even on a Friday afternoon on a cold December day), so perhaps a better that standard branch of Tesco....
Tills are totally inadequate. Self scanning system not working. Long queues to get into self tilling area. Staff too busy talking to help customers. This is as a result of staffed tills being taken out.
