Conveniently located but when products go out of stock, a long time goes by before they are replenished. Clearly no inventory management is done.
Its relatively good. Many of the staff are very nice, however, there are a couple of staff that do make your shop worse.
Seriously ripped off by the parking! Paid £1.30 for less than 10 mins 'cause that's the hourly rate – even though I was only there for a few minutes. What a joke. And the "spend £10 get your money back" thing is useless when you just need a snack. What a terrible parking experience! It left me feeling completely ripped off
Good stock and keen prices. Fresh and frozen foods and good vegetables. Most things I need and I’m fussy. All the security gates at tills are a bit off putting. The staff on tills are much faster than self service for larger shops and trolley loads. Store is good size and not too massive to get lost. Car park needs to be paid and refunded and trolley needs a £1.
On the whole this is a decent store with friendly service. However one of the long term checkout ladies decided to comment on my shopping once, for example claiming my chocolates were cheap and didn't taste very nice when she had them, after I said I like them. Well Mrs, I'm buying them and I enjoy them, so keep your negative opinions to yourself. I make sure she never serves me now. One big gripe of mine is who tells the staff about stock rotation, or checks it? The amount of times I've gone to get bread or milk and there's plenty in stock with but with just a couple of days left before the useby/bestbefore date, while I've had some from days earlier which had an even longer date.
There was a self-checkout assistant who was unnecessarily rude. I think she should re-evaluate how she speaks to customers, instead of abruptly asking them what they are doing when they are struggling with the notoriously irritating self checkout machines. It wasn’t nice, and she’s supposed to be there to help.
I scheduled an delivery through the tesco website between 11-12 am. I wasn't available before then, and the delivery came at 10:30. This caused me to miss the delivery, so I called the Tesco support line where I was told it was on time, when it was half an hour earlier than the earliest time I booked. I now have to walk 35 minutes to tesco. Poor performance tesco.
Great staff. New computer system meant after checkout and packing all items I had to start again as transaction was cancelled. Disappointing when doing the big weekly shop! Hopefully glitches will be ironed out. Ps why do you keep moving all the fruit, veg and dairy products around?
Tesco superstore with good car parking space, they do stock-up often, and loads of promotions, Helpful staff, and do note they closed down their hot foods section for some reason, overall good shopping experience, also there is a Waitrose around the corner if you are looking for something premium!
