   every time i come to this shop and buy more than one item, they either scan it twice "accidentally" or they short change me. i have started going to the red lion supermarket just down the street and it is much better. never going to this shop again

   Great selection for fresh food and everyday essentials. Good for a quick trip for emergency items. Staff have always been polite but have a tendency to overcharge. This is down to misleading pricing or “offers”. This means you have to really check before you pick up items as more than likely when you get to the till you are paying full price for these items. For example the signage will say “£2.50 each or 2 for £3”. Sounds good? Let’s pick up two! But the sign will relate to a very similar product (same name but a different flavour) even though it is placed above the item you picked up. E.g a pack of Maltesers included in this offer but it relates to honeycomb maltesers only which they do not even have in the store. So why is the pricing sign above the regular maltesers I just picked up? Quickly adds up for a small basket of items! Have had to keep an eye on the till when paying and go back to return or change items multiple times to avoid being overcharged! Have raised this a few times but hasn’t changed, they must do it and hope people do not notice and think they are getting a “deal”.

   Overweight young lady keeps short changing us on numerous occasions & also THROWS change at my child even though my child is being polite to her. Always chatting on her mobile phone whilst serving customers. Horrible lady. Which is a shame as the older lady is so lovely and a real asset to your store. Tried previously to infirm franchise owner, but can't get contact details for him, so we will not be shopping here anymore as same lady has just underchanged us & thrown change at us yet again. For years, we have been in there 3 times a day some days, but will go elsewhere now for sure.

   Last week after my shopping had noticed they charged me 1.39 ( twice ) for a bottle of Saka water which was actually 0.69p. Asked them to refund the difference and i didn't mind but today something happened again which was very similar which really annoyed me a lot. She was scanning my shopping and noticed she scanned one item twice ( £ 1.49 ) . When i paid she didn't give me my receipt which i had to ask one at the end and sge gave me the one which only ahows that the payment was made by credit card so i wasn't able to see my purchased items. Then asked her to give me the real receipt and then noticed i was charged twice for an item. She said the machine is so sensitive and said sorry. I was really annoyed because i heard it was scanned twice how come she did not ? Always ask for a receipt .I lost my trust today for sure

   There was an extremely rude arrogant south asian women with freezy hair at the till. I tried to pay with my card it was not going through. So i politely asked sorry, Can you serve the next customer my card is not working. will pay with different card. She rudely replied cannt hear you with an ugly expression. I repeated myself moved to a conner and this rude awful lady very rudely chucked my basket with my stuff on the floor, it made a loud noise. She saw i was ready to pay even then she was ignoring me and said next customer. I politely paid for my stuff. and she didnt say anything rather giving me rude looks. Why are these awful people even in customer service if they cannt even serve. I will never go there. Rather will take the bus to go tesco which is 100 times better and less expensive then them but never ever will come back to this ridiculous place.
