   Been using this shop since the beginning, the quality has gone down. Some days are good, some are bad on products. The meat has gone down hill a bit, the quality is not there. The products not the greatest, we have returned uneatable items which the shop keeper refunded. The frozen section has decreased in size and range as well. The veg section previously had no bad products, they inspected regularly, now you get the odd product. As I mentioned its not all bad, the shop keepers and staff are nice. Some days you find good products.

   Being sold out of date chicken. Nearly fed my 3 year old daughter with it. Double labelled, first one with use by 14.07.24 and the one on top with use by 16.07.24

   What an amazing shop where do I start?! First of all the lovely baked goods; baguettes, pastries, Turkish simit and turnovers are a wonderful way to start the morning. This is the only store in the area where I can find well priced blood oranges and figs which is rare this time of year. Also the butcher has a wonderful array of meats to choose from that are high quality and well sourced. Will definitely come back!

   Worst shop ever bought cheese the same date expiry, big one, in one of those metallic containers, my six year old had it, it was definitely off. Came back to replace it, but the mean owner didn’t just yelled. Was aggressive…. Please check your dates. What else is off ….I will definitely make it my mission to call the council to report, very disappointed.

   By far the rudest staff members. Every time I ask one of the men overseeing the watermelon to cut a new one open because the ones on display look bad, they refuse. The watermelon looks off but yet they still refuse to open a new one for me to buy! I don’t understand, do you not want to sell!!!!!! Do you purposely want to lose customers? I highly recommend the owner to put his staff in check ( especially the men, very rude attitude) or employ new staff.

   I bought chicken from the butchers and it was given to me in a tied up bag. I should have checked it because I took it out of the fridge the next day and it smelled very very bad, like rotten eggs - a definite sign of salmonella. I have never had this problem from other butchers or supermarket. I am never buying meat from this butcher again.
